Great film but I'm not sure I'd describe it as disturbing. Tragic in parts, sad pretty much all the way through (apart from the end) but I'm not sure about disturbing. What about it did that for you?
It disturbed me in much the same way as the bullying of children by their parents in shows like Supernanny and Nanny911 does.

Let's just say I prefer to stay on the brighter side of the line fence.
Get Baraka, Amelie, The Chorus, Little Miss Sunshine and Etre et Avoir. And Forest Gump, which you've probably seen. Oh, and Bicentennial Man.

Is it normal for Norwegian people to call you a Hun?

Yes, although in the local dialect they call me a ho. 😲

What was the most disturbing film you ever saw?

For me? Probably "Kids", "Henry, Portrait of a Serial Killer", "Man Bites Dog", "Killing Zoe", "Happiness"...I'll need to think of a few more.

I Spit on Your Grave was pretty heavy, but to be honest I don't think I've ever seen a film that has disturbed me enough to remember it. I'm pretty hard to shock or nauseate.

2001: A Space Odyssey.

That moment where the pod turns around in the silence of space and comes after Frank Poole, its claws slowly extending, freaked me out. It still freaks me out.

For some reason, the moment right after that, when you see Frank flying around on the monitor, and Dave realizes what's just happened, freaks me out even more, maybe because Dave doesn't yet realize that HAL is behind it.

.... how about...."What are you doing Dave?"... freaked me out!
