mokko - Pulse was good, interesting story to it. I recommend it for anyone who enjoys "scary" movies.

Decent was also good - I liked the story and would like to see a second one made, but the best that got out of me was a small jolt.

Gimme more ideas....
Alien - the original movie. The king of horror movies. 😲

Jaws is also a great horror move and very well done, but not as scary as...

Fantastic Planet! Nasty alien feeding on people. 😲

There's more, but I won't tell you about them till you've seen these.

Hostel was a good movie - the lovely bodies therein totally aside.

Had great imagery - Did you notice that the girls were all hot and sexy looking until the kid passed out in the back area? When he went lookin for them, they went all slum lookin and the whole "pretty" scenery got very bleak - most things were shades of grey...exept the blood.... There is a visible change to the whole background.

Still, it was gruesome, but not scary - I think I am looking for something that has an intelletual and psychological terror to it.

The Japanese release of "The Grudge" had a psychological edge and excellent imagery....anyone see it? (not the Sarah Michelle version....)

I saw "The Grudge" and it was one of the stupidest movies I'd ever seen. Almost turned it off in the middle of it but stuck it out thinking it might have something of value - but it didn't. A total waste of time.

The Japanese version was better. I watched the American version and it was bleh. I think it was called "Ju-on"

Your attitude towards that reminds me of when I saw The Blair Witch Project. As soon as it started to get moderately interesting, it ended. WTF?

What scares us most is when we can identify with the environment. I saw the original "The Seedpods" when I was a kid and it scared the hell out of me. Also very scary was "X The Unknown". Bet you haven't seen those two movies?

Seedpods, I have not seen....

X The Unknown sounds familiar, may have seen it, may not, I honestly dont recall. I have been watching horror movies since I was about 8 or 9 and have been looking for something to scare the **** out of me since I was about 15....that was in the 80s...
