I have seen all movies suggested - most were at least decent movies, but nothing really scary.
mokko - Pulse was good, interesting story to it. I recommend it for anyone who enjoys "scary" movies.
Decent was also good - I liked the story and would like to see a second one made, but the best that got out of me was a small jolt.
Gimme more ideas....
Jaws is also a great horror move and very well done, but not as scary as...
Fantastic Planet! Nasty alien feeding on people. 😲
There's more, but I won't tell you about them till you've seen these.

Hostel was awesome!
Had great imagery - Did you notice that the girls were all hot and sexy looking until the kid passed out in the back area? When he went lookin for them, they went all slum lookin and the whole "pretty" scenery got very bleak - most things were shades of grey...exept the blood.... There is a visible change to the whole background.
Still, it was gruesome, but not scary - I think I am looking for something that has an intelletual and psychological terror to it.
The Japanese release of "The Grudge" had a psychological edge and excellent imagery....anyone see it? (not the Sarah Michelle version....)

X The Unknown sounds familiar, may have seen it, may not, I honestly dont recall. I have been watching horror movies since I was about 8 or 9 and have been looking for something to scare the **** out of me since I was about 15....that was in the 80s...
