And why phrase the statement "typical Irish racist prick"? Wouldn't "typical racist prick" sufficed? I've seen racists behave exactly like this in London, Manchester, Glasgow, etc, etc. In fact he qualifies that the nationality part is important with "you have to be here to understandwhat i mean", meaning that the Irish part of the statement is what sets these particular racists as a level worse than your average racist.
Now I know that Huck isn't even on a par with Christy Brown in literary terms, but it seems that his reinforcing of the nationality is more than just his typical weak fumblings with the english language.
But then, in defense of these idiots and Huck; Nuair a bhíonn an t-ól istigh, bíonn an chiall amuigh.
