This was done when 600 seats had been called, so not completely accurate, but it illustrates the point.

Conservatives: 44.7% of seats for 36% of vote
Labour: 38.6% of seats for 29% of vote
Lib Dems: 9% of seats 23% of vote

The first piece of electoral reform anyone does should be to prevent any incumbent party from sacking their leader without there being an immediate a general election.

Brown is an unelected PM who has lost this election and the confidence of the British electorate, his grabbing attempts to hold onto an office that was not attained through a democratic process is a disgrace.
Rec'd...I totally agree. Tony Blair was entitled to give the Labour Party leadership to Brown, but the office of Prime Minister was not his to give..it is in the gift of the electorate to choose an encumbent for that office. 71% of the British electorate have told him to go, but he's still desperately trying to hold on to office. The man is a pathetic disgrace.

Splinters are a constant problem !!! I don't know why I dislike the man so much..he's just a lousy politician like all the rest..I think it's partly because he flounces like a tart when things go wrong ( it's always someone else's fault ), and how can you trust a man who doesn't know how to smile !!!!

He has half his face paralysed and he has a glass eye. You must think [insert person with ailment that causes paralasys down one side of the body, but not stroke victims because that's offensive and i wouldn't want to offend stupid people with overly puratin ideologies...let's say....paralysed drug addicts....but nice ones with underlying mental health reasons for taking drugs, not the nasty kind that steal your TV] are right bastards.

That doesn't really work...can someone give me a paralysing ailment that i can use?

straight away? but that could produce a similar result? (and then would you keep doing it till we get a definite result or a pleasing result?)

i would say try a coalition for a bit until a few months down the line (like in 1974)

Bad for the markets, and while the greece problem is on us, Europe couldn't take it. We need decision makers not a right/liberal farce. We need a government that can make the decisions fast.
