Originally posted by WRAITHKNIGHTOkay, in that case maybe you should have tried lying down. 😉 (Just kidding, although I have done that a couple of times - not in town, though.) As for the lens flare, that can often be avoided by using your hand to shield the sun.
All good points people, I must admit I did kneel down to take the photo
I am surprised that you believe slide film is more costly. For my aurora photography I use quite expensive film (Fuji Provia 400F), but I save a lot of money for copies, and frames are not expensive. The cutting and framing is a lot of work, though, and I have to wait longer for the pictures because my photo shop doesn't do slides. For "everyday pictures" I still use mostly negative film for convenience.
Originally posted by WRAITHKNIGHTUgh, I hated it... 😉 Ugly palm trees, stupid blue sea... 😀 But that was long ago (I was 14, I think), it was only a short stop, I was very carsick, and I had decided to hate it anyway because I was there against my will (our guest family insisted on taking us to the Côte d'Azur while everybody else went to a farm).
I took the photo in Nice in France, very nice place.😀
Originally posted by RagnorakThere's obviously something about it, otherwise she wouldn't have made the third place. 🙂 It was not one of my personal favourites, though. I feel I "should" like it - I like the subject (nice tree! ), and there's nothing directly wrong with the picture, and yet there's something about it I don't quite like. I would almost certainly have preferred less sky and more waterfall, but I am not sure whether that would have solved the issue. Maybe it's the lack of ground which is somewhat disturbing, although that has its fascination, too.
I'd appreciate some thoughts on my gf's 25. Strength. It was a picture which I wrote off immediately, but there's something about it.
Now I got a short exposure, and I am still not satisfied. Gee, I really am difficult. 😉
Originally posted by NordlysSorry everybody. I got all my printed pics put onto cd today at the developers and the fecker put them all on upside down.
Sooo.... Where are the pictures of the third round? Looks like I'll have to wait until tomorrow. 🙁 😴😴😴
Then, after rotating and saving them all (800 of them), I was going to open the round... but then I got high.
Tomorrow.
