@very-rusty said3 times a day!
Ok so you have tea 3 times a day
I've had 3 mugs of tea by 8am. !!!
1. Tea in bed. (Me & the missus take turns making it.)
2. Tea with breakfast. 2 mugs.
3. Morning tea. (aka elevensies)
4. Lunch.
5. Afternoon tea. (between 3 & 4)
6. Pre-dinner tea about 6pm.
7. Dinner. - no scratch that, a glass of red wine!
8. Supper. (Though increasingly its another glass of wine.)
NZ is ranked 7 in the world for per capita tea consumption.
UK is 4th.
@wolfgang59 removed their quoted postI drink a lot of green tea, usually a couple extra large coffee with skim milk of course.
Never drink red wine, or any wine for that matter.
Does your tea have caffeine?
Eight ounces of green tea contain about 35 mg of caffeine, which is about half the amount of caffeine found in regular, black tea. However, this is still more significant than decaffeinated tea, which has between 2 to 10 mg of caffeine per cup. Even iced green tea has caffeine, about 15 mg in a 16 ounce container.

@very-rusty saidTea should always be drunk in bone china and porcelain cups. Porcelain is amazingly non-porous, and the vitrified glaze makes it non-reactive as well. Bone china is like porcelain, except in that it uses bone ash mixed with clay. It is what most British teaware is made of, and British scientists opine that the smooth shape of the bone china and porcelain cups prevents tannin in the tea from sticking to the side, thus preserving the body of the tea.
