Don't read it, save yourself!
Actually, survival of the fittest does not necessarily benefit the intelligence scale. It benefits those who reproduce more. Studies have shown that people with a lower IQ tend to have more kids than people with a higher IQ.
Have you ever seen the movie Idiocracy? An average Joe gets frozen in time and wakes up 500 years l t about the ever growing anti-intellectualism in society and the tendency to dumb things down.

Surely, such unusual obtuseness and disregard for any logical reasoning is unsafe for a 13+ site? In fact, I would argue that it is by far more detrimental to the young people who mig ...[text shortened]... nsuspecting teenager.
In your opinion, to what extent, if any, should stupidity be moderated?

and yes, the youngsters are much worse off by being exposed to such behaviour models than [robomodded] curse words.

I once asked him, "Would you rather be stupid or ignorant"?
In under a second he said something like, "I'd rather be stupid. Being ignorant means you are too lazy to learn, and complacent with the erroneous information you were spoon fed (if any information at all). False knowledge or a total lack of knowledge is worthless if not dangerous. If I was stupid I probably wouldn't even know or care".
Next, he snapped his fingers in my face. His little way of saying, "FACT".

Ignorance is simply the absence of knowledge about something, not necessarily due to laziness or complacency. Intelligence is the ability to learn and use new information so, conversely, stupidity is simply the lack of that ability. That lack could be due to behavioural issues.
Your friend seems stupid.
