The most detestible movie ever:
Pearl Harbour.
The only redeeming feature was the actual bombing of Pearl Harbour. An act of mercy, to be sure, for all that corny dialogue, gung-ho flag-waving, wooden acting and trite storyline perpetrated by Hollywood against that poor defenseless island.
Too bad the bombs missed our too-good-to-be-true "heroes", as it would have provided a far better, and more believable ending to the movie.
I haven't been able to watch Ben Afleck or Josh Hartnet since without being overwelmed with spasms of involunraty cringing, and the gulping back of waves of nausea.
It is a truly horrible film.

I can't believe nobody has mentioned the fine film resume of Kevin Costner?

The postman
Robin Hood

I agree with you there...the sequel wasn't that much better either.
Originally posted by dfm65I am absolutely certain. The Blair witch project is the only movie I lost money at in the two years I operated the video store. There are others that were bad and I barely broke even. But the blair witch 13.00 each for 3 copies and at $2.50 a rental I never saw my money back. It is the worst loss/investment I had. Thankfully it was a cheaper movie. Strangely enough I actually thought blair witch two was better. Something actually happened in that movie.

Independance Day was ok, but when Will Punched the alien and said, "come on, what, you want some of me? Come on..." Or something like that, I almost puked. I mean give me a break.
Blair Witch, I rented it and can't tell you how bad it was because it was bad enough for me to turn it off after the first 10 minutes!
I think the original "Blob" movie as well as the others have got to be ranked somewhere near the top of the worst of all time list.
Also, Jack Nicolson played in a movie where goofy aliens were trying to take over the earth or something like that. I can't remember the name of the movie and turned it off also. It really stunk!
