@Great-Big-Stees saidVery kind, I guess, but no. A bottle of Riesling would be better to keep me awake for the PGA tournament.
Well that’s almost like getting the gold medal. In the meantime, can I get you a Molson Golden?🤔👍😁
@Torunn saidYour wish is my command.🥂…enjoy.👍

Scottie Scheffler won it with a -30, in case you did not know, Torunn.
He's having a good year, eh?
@Earl-of-Trumps said“Good year”? I’d say a GREAT year. 7 tourney wins, an Olympic gold medal and most importantly, became a first time dad.👍

@Earl-of-Trumps saidNot a fan of Blue but if that’s what you desire, so you shall have…enjoy.👍🍺
@Great-Big-Stees
In that case, Stees, I wish I had a Blue [wink]
@Earl-of-Trumps said🙂 I know Earl, I followed the competition last night until the bitter end. 🙂 I think they were all great and showed great sportsmanship. Scheffler was unstoppable. Ludvig will have a knee surgery and a rest. And all the players made good money and don't have to worry about tomorrow unless they have extravagant families. 🙂

Honey Deuce
A rather new cocktail featured at the US Open (Tennis).
This year they estimate selling a cool $10M worth of these, easily paying the combined purses for the winners.
Created by the makers of Grey Goose.
Ingredients
1 ¼ oz GREY GOOSE® Vodka
3 oz Fresh Lemonade
½ oz Premium Raspberry Liqueur
3 Honeydew Melon Balls
How to Make
1. Fill a chilled highball glass with cubed ice and add GREY GOOSE® Vodka.
2. Top with fresh lemonade and raspberry liqueur.
3. Garnish with a skewer of 1 or multiple frozen honeydew melon balls.
An excellent cool summer drink nice for lounging at the pool.
@Earl-of-Trumps said$10 a pop, but you keep the memorial glass, if you buy one at the US Open.
@Suzianne
grey goose...? I'm all in on that one.
The maker of Grey Goose says the fresher the lemonade, the better the drink.
They also say the only places licensed to make the drink are establishments that feature Grey Goose (of course), if you fancied trying to find this at your local bar.
@Suzianne saidAs our feature Vodka is Belvedere we won’t be getting a license then.🤔😉👍

So Wodka is potatoe -based and should be nutral in tase (Just ethanol and water), but depending on the yeasts used (and a bit on the potatoes) you can get "unwanted" side products. The "nail polishing" taste mentioned probably is from acrolein, which would point to a (ever so small) contamination of the yeats with some bacteria which make the stuff. A knowledgeable distiller should discard the raw brew since you can't distill it out (actually you can using vacuum distillation, but nobody can pay for that when we talk wodka).
