@suzianne saidGood to know!
Season 3 of Lost in Space just dropped on Netflix tonight.
Meanwhile I still have half an hour to go in "Journey to the West" but took a side trip to watch "Addams Family Values" again.

Anyway:
The Peanut Butter Falcon
Loved this film.

Is it dubbed into English, or just subtitled?
I might want to take a peek at that.

Subtitled, which I prefer. On Amazon Prime I don't see a dubbed option.
@kevin-eleven saidThere is no option. Netflix (and yes, Amazon Prime) just airs whatever version the publishers decide to send.

I usually have subtitles on anyways, even when watching stuff in English. It avoids the "what did he just say?" rewind game.
"Shang Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings"
Disney Plus finally released an app for Windows (in the Microsoft Store) that lets people stream their content at up to 4K (1080p in my case). Previously my resolution was limited to 720p on Windows (streaming through a browser) because of their HDCP requirements.
I'll probably resub to HBO to watch the new Matrix movie in a few days.
"Matrix Resurrections" -- I'd watch it again, but I liked some parts more than others. I thought the quieter parts had more suspense and narrative drive than the action-filled stretches.
"Oldboy" (2013) -- I finally caved and watched the Spike Lee/Josh Brolin remake after not being able to stream the original. But afterward I did find a recap discussion of the original that hits all the major plot points, so I could do a rough compare and contrast.
"Cowboy Bebop" -- So far have watched the first episode of the live-action remake and the first episode of the original anime series. Came into this fresh-minded and think the new version is fine, in contradistinction to some disparagers on the web.
"Yakuza Apocalypse" -- Only 18 minutes into it, and mostly only to see if the subtitles line up better on VUDU than they do on Amazon Prime (they do -- on Amazon Prime the subtitles were delayed by about half a minute or who knows how long). Pleased to find that "free with ads" on VUDU is not too bad -- only one ad at the start of the movie, and no ad breaks so far, 18 minutes into it.
Our county library system recently subscribed to Hoopla, which might help me economize re: streaming subscriptions. We're allowed 10 rentals a month with a valid library card. Hoopla also includes e-books and e-comics, so I might finally have a look at the DMZ series (off the top of my head).
On Hoopla I have just started watching "The Last Days on Mars" with Liev Schreiber, produced by the Irish Film Board and a few other companies. I think they do a good job visually of presenting a realistic, near-future research base on Mars. Looks like Mars to me. My family has a condo at Tharsis Ridge, but I haven't been back for what seems like aeons.
