I learned to play drums to that song. Very easy drum riffs, but a good confidence builder to pull it off as a beginner.

OMG

I was reminded of that very scene and movie last night when I started thinking about how my Mexican wife loves a dish called MENUDO. I had to eat it at our wedding reception because her grandmother made it from scratch. But let me tell you it's the worst thing you could ever put in your mouth. Cow stomach.

The texture was just awful. I had to swallow the cow stomach chunks whole and then eat the broth which wasn't so bad.

But anyway it was just last night I was contemplating, "Why does my baby still eat menudo when we've got money for her to buy quality cuts of meat and much better food?" And the obvious answer was.... conditioning. The Mexican culture, because most Mexicans live in poverty, is to eat the ENTIRE carcas of the cow, goat, pig, whatever. So they have to come up with different ways to fancy up stuff like stomach, intestines, tonguem, etc. And they grow up eating it and learn to like it.

So just like Slingblade actually PREFERRED biscuits (or fries) and mustard although he had a full menu of items available... my wife goes for the menudo everytime. It's her favorite dish.
