*sigh speaks for itself doesn`t it....[/b]I actually think the Jo'burg line up will have better continuity: if I was into Bayete I'd probably enjoy all the other acts, too, whereas I honestly couldn't be bothered with listening to half the London acts. It'd probably be worth going just to see Pink Floyd though.

A promise was made by the EU to double current aid to africa.
Mostly cos of all the publicity about Live8 on tv i reckon, politicians want to curry public favour after all.

If fact, he didn't just capitulate. He decided that public opinion was so strong after the show, that he actully declared the whole idea his own.

Did he sing at all? Two friends of mine have attended concerts...in the one he swayed upright but was incomprehensible...in the other he went offstage for a rest after 20 minutes & the rest of the band had to cover him. As life-long fans my friends were understandably disappointed...
