Seems as if threads are made to be broken. Themes drift about like spider-webs in a breeze. This might cause the author of a thread some frustration, but is not this exactly what happens in a group of people who are chatting? My main gripe is that I have something to share, and someone changes the subject before I have a chance to finish.

I think that I bore people. That is my real opinion. So I usually stay quiet and listen to people who bore me. :p

Kewpie, you may have nailed the disruptive culprit (or a significant component), by reason of applying my own applied logic: 'there's only so much discretionary time available for this site's members to contribute to its forums'. By extension, there's only so much ink in an RHP General Forum/FB Poster's Laptop Mouse (no pun intended with your "Angry Bir ...[text shortened]... (90/53). Does this contrast illustrate the difference between Life & Death? (gb)"[/b]
Most dead horses don't require CPR.
It's important to know the difference, or, you can stop beating this thread any time now.

I'm not in the habit of posting X threads per day in the off chance that someone, somewhere will find it interesting. Most don't.
The positive impact of Drive-By posting is that it builds consensus, even though we don't keep (or post) endless statistics on it.

Road Hog or Road Kill or cyberspace travelers without a vehicle for their thoughts who become Virtual Spectators while standing around trying to Thumb a ride on someone else's wheels. Take your pick, HA; you travel this highway but once.
You must love the constant whine of your own wheels.
