Wow, I had no idea people actually used engines. Bedlam is telling me all about how to use them now to study games on and what they are, but I think at this point I prefer playing people and reading books. People here don't like playing others who use them, but my understanding is most decent players (1700-1800) can actually beat the machine because there's sometimes unusual combinations and stuff that defies the calculator.
How do the mods determine this whole engine use thing anyways? And why is it such a big deal?

Engines tend to be rated around 2600+ in normal time standards so kind of strong 🙂
