Well, Everyday, you've got to consider that z00t does have a point. After playing long enough it becomes easy to tell who's real and who isn't. However, z00t's going about this whole situation the wrong way.
I can understand you not wanting to post your name - a lot of people don't.
I can't understand why you wouldn't tell people whether or ...[text shortened]... eople that you're the real deal, just ask DragonFire, RahimK, Bedlam, and Z00t.
While we realise that by joining this site you have not put yourself under any obligation to share your knowledge with others, myself and a few others are having a very good discussion on chess openings and would really appreciate any contribution you could make.
Wouldn't have been that hard now would it?🙄

You can't be thorough and polite?
2.Check my profile.
If you played 100+ concurrent games and slaughter the competition wouldn't you expect people to skeptical? I would. Would you try to prove you're the real deal? I would.
The point remains - you don't like the skepticism? You have two choices.
1.Deal with it, and trust that the game mods won't ban you if you don't cheat - they haven't missed once.
2.Prove you can play.

You questioning lacks:
- respect you show individuals - chess players or not, good or not.
- proper reading of my first post - you simply started to put your own words into my mouth and then you request me to asnwer them.
- understanding that no high rated player is bounded to be your messiah of chess, doing what you think they should do, answering your ...[text shortened]... Celebrity Status'

Any genuine players on here perform/have performed well OTB on other chess sites. However to make very wild unsustainable claims only goes to disprove rather than prove one's case.

So...now you've just gone and contradicted yourself.
I said that Ironman31 displayed chess knowledge in his posts, namely in the analysis of a game he lost to Akizy. You said displaying chess knowledge was a foolproof way to determine legitimacy, and I disagreed with you.
I could post a couple of names I helped through playing - some of them several times. And I do post on private forums. With all the benefits of private forums: namely if people want to ask you questions they won't start with trash-talking, but by reading what I wrote.
I told Sicilian who the master was, without a name - if you really need to know.
His name is Gabor Kadas, they say he was a prey to the old communist regime - which I cannot argue about since I wasn't there, didn't see if it was true - but since several people wrote it in their books I suppose it is.
His rating back then was over 2400 - by how far I don't know. But he killed off IMs in 15 moves after starting with 1.h4. If you want the game I can post that, too.
When our game took part a couple of years ago he was rated around 2300 still. Ever since then he has been fading. He's not playing much now and getting old. I plan to visit him, once I can stand up from bed for the travel. I've just looked it up - he is now 2201 and now 70 years old.
And yes by the time I played him I had been playing for between one and two years.
I won't be able to find the move history for my first on the board game against that 20xx player - I've been searching for it ever since.
See? All it takes is asking normally. :p
Where is the opening debate, Ian?
Oh and I do have an ICC handle which I never play with - simply because I don't like blitzing the past years - I only follow the world events.
Originally posted by Ramiri15I just checked out what you were referring to - his posts were NOT that impressive. Not bad, but...I mean, a lot of his posts were basically "Thanks pulsatilla!"

After a quick glance his annotation with him and akizy wasn't too great.

I got accused of cheating once (which I find hilarious, needing Fritz to tickle 1700...lol) and it went away too, so oh well.
