A recent game with white
Black played a couple of questionable moves, but the real clanger was move 17

Maybe because the majority of my opponents are now at the same level as me, or higher

Originally posted by MISTER CHESSIt's not a semi-slav, it does have some resemblance to it and could possibly transpose, but you cannot call that a semi-slav. 3..c6 is dodgy because it allows 4.e4 and white has an opening advantage.

Originally posted by KnightStalker47Yes, but the point is after d5 is played it is a semi slav. He was worried about blocking the knight and losing a tempo, just because he got the judgement right but for the wrong reasons doesn't mean he needs no correction. Especially when he has such an inflated sense of himself.

Edit: Thank you for pointing that out though, My comment may have been misleading to others.

Originally posted by TygertLook boy, I made those comments ages ago. I would thrash you in a game after playing c6 so go back to your IQ test and figure out what you did wrong to only score a measly 160.

Pointing out a bad move for ignorant reasons is more lucky than good and someone who sucks at chess like yourself shouldn't be pointing out mistakes to another person who is better than you at chess, like 64squares.
