This was an exciiting game.
Just goes to show that anyone can get caught.

Here are a couple of my losses in 20 or less, but I saw them coming...

Continuing the theme of dropping pieces & pawns & not recognising basic threats:

White's 10th move wins a piece, but Black decides to keep the piece and get mated instead.

Honestly Jon; people will think you have nothing to hide sticking your name on a PGN.
I put the link to my club's website on a recent post and people could see my real name (and also that I won 50% of my first season OTB gamesπŸ˜‰) and that got removed almost immediately.
It just won't do!

I just finished one where I chased the king to the center and mated him with a pawn πŸ˜€

My latest: Game 5213698. It would have been mate on move 18. Not entirely sound though.

I was trying to decide whether to revive an old thread or start a new one "mate in 10 or under" but thought why let a thread with 1117 posts die.

I quite like the last move on this game: discovered checkmate.

Game 5176685

(It was a KGA thematic so the move numbering is out.)
