Nice ending position but I got lucky my opponent was greedy for my queen. 😀

Here's a game I played in blitz at another site, and it has a rather nice queen sac in it.

You'd think that one's opponent would suspect a trap when one throws a queen in his way on the tenth move.

Here's a game that finished today. The play was so very bad that by move 16, the only Black piece on the board which was not at its starting position was the king!

Oh, why not.

Game 5340256

9. Qh5 was of course a trap -- I spent forever calculating the consequences of 9. ... g6 10. Nxg6, and thanks to the wonderful pin on the f pawn, the dark-squared bishop's readiness to leap into the fray, and the absence of squares for his king to land on, everything I could come up with led to either winning his queen + lots of other material or (more often) mate.

Obviously, blitz, and my opponent's name will be removed to save any embarrassment -- but how often do you get someone castling right into a mate-in-one?

My very first game/victory on this website! Quite a cute victory if I must say.
