I vote for exf4. Remember you want to open the game when ahead in development. Further f5 could lock our bishop in almost as badly as their bishops are locked in. I am just not sure what happens after Rxf4.
BTW, e4 f5? Ne7 gaining a tempo on the queen and then Nxf5.
It dangerous lining your queen up with the opposite rook.
White also has the 2 bishop and they have the potential to come alive if we open up the position.

Yes, but does losing our a-pawn matter? he is still wasting time taking pawns when he should be developing. Of course, it is up to us to prove that...
I have yet to See the "advantage" We don't have an attack - so what are we devoloping for?
And adding to that Losing the A-pawn as well? - as soon as white gets that all "it" has to do is trade down to a simple endgame (2 pawns up)
I think the options we have it to limit the mobilty of White peices...

Qxa7 and we are finished as two pawns down and a fairly easy completion of whites development after b3 and fianchetto of the white queens bishop. So 15..e4 16. f5 Bd5 17. f6 and I would ignore the solitary advanced f pawn as the black king can use the old trick of hiding behind this lone attacker so 18..b6 or even 18..gxf!? and use the open g file with Kh8, Rg8, Ne4, f5 and Qg5 as half moves.

Originally posted by CrazyLilTingI feel an immediate 17..Qd3 allows 18. fe Rfd8 then 19. Qc3 where white will try to liquidate to the won endgame 2 pawns up. Maybe 19..Qg6 then is poosible but it begs the question of whites strategy of trying to hold whites central pawns at bay with his queen on d3 to attempt to impede whites mobilisation.
Qd3, followed by Rfd8
What plays white?
yes, even game, but a lot of space for black

P.S.: only passing by here, saw the position and I was tempted 🙂

Edit: remember you are playing against a machine.
Originally posted by LittleBearDo you mean if 17..Qd3 18. fe Rfd8 19. Qc3 Bc4? Then simply 20. Rf2 or Rf4 wins for white. We cannot leave the queens come off and this why I do not like the Qd3 idea which as I mentioned earlier it does not accomplish its actual goal of impeding whites development whereas 17..e4 gives options.
if Qc3, then Bc4 is a nice alternative

It never gets tired of playing the same color.
It never gets tired of playing the same variation over and over again.
You want to practise some opening line, set it up, take your color and play on and on and the computer won't mind 🙂 Unlike humans 😛
