I'd like to post this last post to thank all of you for 3½ fantastic years on this site. I've played hundreds of different opponents here and almost all of you were very polite, enjoyable and knowledgable. I couldn't ask more from any chess opponent online or OTB.
When I look back from w ...[text shortened]... uture to the site admins and all supporting players of the site!
Goodbye.
Did anyone ever work out which Claus Jensen Cludi was from this list?

I find it hard to believe that Cludi would never play any rated OTB club games/tourni's/league matches & just become an equivalent internet FIDE Master.
He should be on that list somewhere I'd have thought.

It's impossible to say if any of them are Cludi since there is no demographic data presented. Also the list goes back only to 1995; if Cludi played no OTB tourneys since then, presumably he's not on the list.
last night i was playing blitz and was defeated for a player with a funny nick ... then i searched on his profile and then i searched on his country fellows and i found a lot of them with similar nicks.
Its outstanding the amount (a) cheaters playing here ... similar nicks
making their last move with minutes of difference ... its so difficult to ban this players ?

I think a little less in the way of public accusations is necessary if we are not to lose a lot more valued members of this site and the forum mod team need to jump on them. Perhaps an automatic 1 month forum ban for any cheating accusations, 6 months for a re ...[text shortened]... ense. If this were then to continue with PMs a total banning from the site should be considered.
To me, the loss of a valued member is the most sorry side effect of this whole fiasco.
I picked up details from the forums. There is no reason why this information should have even been posted, nevermind not modd'ed out immediately. I draw my own conclusions based on the "evidence" I have seen.
Other people have also drawn their own conclusions. Some of them have decided that there is enough evidence to burn the witch in public, without waiting for the trial.
The minimum response to posting these allegations should be a forum ban, IMHO.

yes cludi seems to have exited with a maximum amount of fanfare, again trying to validate his self-serving blog. He didn't seem anxious to engage in any relevant discussion concerning the allegations of engine use, which given the "in-depth" treatment on his blog, should have been a requirement. ðŸ˜
