Its a great opening for an intermediate player, as its full of tactics, that are essential knowledge.
Play the Muzio Gambit, sac a knight for an attack!
Korchnoi plays it, and wrote a book about it a while ago.
Theres still plenty of books on it, and lots of games to study.

Edit: and I followed the line from Korchnois book in this game which led me to a busted position [beware books]

Thats pretty good going. Looks like it will full up in 24 hours.
Oh, and one of those player's is Smaug who apparently doesn't even like the KG 😀. Jerk! 😛

Only trouble is the way this is set up I can't play d5 as black (Falkbeer counter Gambit) so I'm busted - I have lost half my games already.
Fishers Defense (d6) is no bloody good, so I have no respone as black other than resignation in a clearly lost starting position.

You can't do that in KGA and expect to hang around for more than a dozen moves.
And by the way, nothing (not even Fishers defense) is any bloody good against the KG because it is such an awesome opening.
