Can you please explain why you think I should be burnt alive for all eternity?

But frankly the reason I will not come back is because of you "dive dude".
Yeah before you slithered in and ruined it this forum was interesting and something I looked forward ...[text shortened]... ays are numbered.

But...you will soon know who Jehovah is my friend. Good luck with that....
Your own spiritual mindmap is on full display here, galveston75. Tell me, theologically speaking, do you think divegeester is wrong to oppose and condemn the "eternal torture" ideology, the reason why some of its proponents have called him a "Christian basher"?

First, you are a sinner. And second, you don't believe in eternal torment.

Another point of theology that may have earned divegeester a bit of ribbing for being a "basher" is his implacable rejection of the notion of the "Trinity" as being "extra-Biblical" and [if I recall the debates correctly] related to pre-Christian or non-Christian pagan concepts. Have you found yourself in agreement with divegeester on this issue?

OK. So I should be burnt alive for eternity because I'm the same as every other human being who has ever lived and that I don't believe in the punishment of not believing in the nature of my eternal state.

Some here have accused me as a Christian who has more on common with atheists; I wonder why.

I can tell you why.

Everyone places their opinions and the opinion of others into little boxes that they label according to their own biases.

Your little box labeled "Christian" doesn't match the opinions found in their little box labeled "Christian".

Certainly there's more to it than that, but that's the basis of it.

Seeing as divegeester is a follower of Christ, which he clearly is, and which he has demonstrated here for several years, don't you think it's a bit peculiar for Christians to call him an "atheist" and "as dangerous as satan himself" and yet you never seem to call people out for it? Are you sure that you yourself transcend this "little box" situation you have described?

Yes but that does not mean he is a Christian does it? No. It only means he understands the trinity and it's origin.
Many non Christians also do not believe the trinity.

Also many so called Christians have had much wrong in their understanding of what a Christian is and what their demeanor is to be with others. Saul was one. He truly believed he was doing right in God's eyes but it turned out he wasn't close.....
Perhaps Dive Dude fits into that situation..... Jehovah will let him know one way or the other in time.

He deserves to be thrown in the Lake of Fire and Brimstone with Satan and his demons. However, bad as it might seem, Jesus might forgive him of all his sins regardless of what we think. May you have joy during this coming holiday season and may the Holy Spirit take care of your family.
Thanks...

Yes but it's clear he is a Christian from his postings here for many years. We know he's not a Jehovah's Witness, of course, but just because he's vocal about that and because he is unimpressed by your posting style, and says so ~ how do you get from that to him 'not being a Christian'?

This just seems to be criticism of him for not being a Jehovah's Witness. Surely you accept that Christians can be Christians with necessarily being Jehovah's Witnesses?

Christ taught an everlasting torment for unrepentant sinners in the Lake of Fire and Brimstone. There were a couple of threads that went into great detail on this, but you have stubbornly refused to repent and believe what Christ taught. So is it going to take you being thrown in there and experiencing everlasting torment to believe Christ?

sonship, do you agree that divegeester "deserves to be thrown in the Lake of Fire and Brimstone with Satan and his demons" on account of the fact that he does not believe in the notion of "eternal torture"?
