I may be wrong, but I thought it would be something like this as hominem attack I found on the internet:Another example of ad hominem fallacy is taken from Velonews: The Journal of Competitive Cycling. After an article about the retirement of Lance Armstrong, its webpage shared a post with its readers. A commenter posted a comment saying how great ...[text shortened]... That’s why not everybody is “happy for Lance.”

You claim you are a Christian, can you answer this before God:
During your time at RHP have you ever been assisted in your chess games buy either a chess engine/computer or any other illegal mechanism?
Others are convinced of your cheating but I am not. I suspect however that you would not want to make a metaphorical "hand on the Bible" type of declaration if it were not true. If you don't want to answer that is fine of course - but if you are going to accuse me of ad hominem attacks (plural) then I will require evidence please.

The point is that even if a person has been a fraud, cheat, and a liar at some point in their life that should not be used to judge everything they say or do as being a lie or a fraud or an attempt to cheat.
An attack on the character of a witness in a trial is sometimes used to discredit their testimony, but even that must be relevant to the accusations ...[text shortened]... the trial and they must give other reasons to support the attempt to discredit their testimony.
I am politely challenging you because of the way you set yourself up as the "Instructor" for example, often being ridiculous and claiming to be here to bring instruction to the atheists. It's embarrassing especially when you are sitting on top of an alleged cheating claim.
Originally posted by divegeesterThat is fine. I am only stating my opinions like everyone else. My using the name "Instructor" or "Moron" or whatever is just for fun. Other people take names too, like "Infidel", but I prefer other names. Isn't it my choice to use whatever name I want?

I have answered the cheating claim many times on the Chess Forum as well as this forum and you where here when I did that so you should already know what I have said about it, so there is no reason for me to keep repeating myself when you could easily look it up for yourself.
The only reason I can see that you would bring it up again is to try to discredit something I said on here that you disagree with such as eternal torment, the Trinity, or my stance against evolution which is the reason I believe Proper Knob made the charge the first time.

I don't need the chess cheating claims about you to discredit the horrendous doctrine of eternal suffering.
If it's that easy to "look up" where you have stated before god that you have not used illegal mechanisms to achieve your RHP chess rating then i'm sure you would have posted a link to the thread with a page reference.
Obviously you don't want to deny it this specifically titled thread, so lets leave it there.

Thanks. Final Footnote: To learn any basic or advanced subject at any age requires objectivity [setting aside preconceptions and deeply held emotionally charged opinions]; humility [seeing yourself for who and what you are rather than as some grandiose or imaginary persona]; and acceptance of authority [of the source of information ...[text shortened]... bjectivity, arrogance and rejection of authority prevail, especially with respect to God's Word.

Now can we get back to discussing and debating spirituality matters?

You don't have to of course and I'm only still asking as you are here debating.
Originally posted by divegeesterI know you are going to believe whatever you want anyway. And again, it has nothing to do with the 'theory of evolution'.

Josephw seems to believe that me challenging him on his beliefs about eternal suffering (whatever they are), is "Christian bashing". He reminds me of Galveston75 bleating on and on and on about victimisation when people questioned him on his beliefs.
But frankly the reason I will not come back is because of you "dive dude".
Yeah before you slithered in and ruined it this forum was interesting and something I looked forward to each day. But you have taken over the spiritual forum with..yes..your Christian bashing which is as dangerous as satan himself being here as your goal is nothing more then to tear down anyone that has love for their god and all the good things he stands for no matter their opinion.
Your clearly have no love for god or your fellow man. It is clear you have a deep void full of hate and of non spirituality and as a result you are like satan in trying to bring down anyone that does. You are a miserable human being and I actually feel sorry for you.
But I make it clear you have not won anything with me leaving the spiritual forum as you are only one tiny little human being with tiny little opinions. You are nothing more then a god hater knowing his days are numbered.
But...you will soon know who Jehovah is my friend. Good luck with that....
Originally posted by galveston75I am sorry you JWs felt you had to leave. I love you guys even though we disagreed on many things. I agree with you about divegeester. He deserves to be thrown in the Lake of Fire and Brimstone with Satan and his demons. However, bad as it might seem, Jesus might forgive him of all his sins regardless of what we think. May you have joy during this coming holiday season and may the Holy Spirit take care of your family.
