How do we know the universe has a center?

If you want to tell others about the contents of the Geeta, please do so in brief and in yo ...[text shortened]... sweep of that Sukta which yields a new meaning every time. Do not talk so lightly of the Vedas.
rvsakhadeo, is it normal from Hare Krishna people like Dasa to call Hindus "atheists"?

You've repeatedly claimed that theists who do not agree with your particular religion are, in practical terms, "atheists". Does this include Hindus that you disapprove of? Or do you recognize that Hindus who deviate from the teachings you subscribe to are, nevertheless, theists?

The Vedanta Sutra does not teach Hinduism. Hinduism is the misunderstood conclusion of the Vedic teachings.

Does Dasa's 'atheist label' apply to Hindus just like it applies to all the Jewish, Christian and Muslim theists?

How does the typical atheist "behave" dasa? I'm curious of your classification criteria.

That's not true Dasa.

You have claimed that followers of what you call "false religions" are "atheists" (sometimes you even claim they are "worse" than atheists) many, many times.

On 19 September you said "Following false religion equals atheist."

And that came shortly after saying (on 13 September): "The biggest win for the atheist propaganda machine is the existence of false religion. ( Islam Christianity and Judaism)".

And before that (5 September): "Christianity Islam and Judaism have only recently appeared on the human scene after being fabricated from the minds of the animal killers and meat eaters - and therefore they will come and go like all false religions do".

And (2 September): "Persons teaching false religion (Islam Christianity and Judaism) are the most difficult to deal with for they have indoctrinated themselves for years with falsity and they are the most opinionated and the most unqualified for they are truly convinced of their falsity and have to become untaught of their indoctrination.......which they stubbornly resist".

You make it quite clear what you see the "false religions" to be. And you make it quite clear that you think "Following false religion equals atheist."

So, I am not twisting your words. Indeed I am quoting you verbatim.

Therefore I ask again, for you is Hindu a "false religion" and therefore "atheist" in the same way as you say the so-called "false religions" of Christianity, Judaism and Islam are "atheist"?

Dasa,

You've got some explaining to do. In my short span here I've seen you describe those whom disagree with your beliefs (whatever they may be, I'm still trying to figure that out) as people who are not qualified spiritually -- I've even seen you describe people you disagree with as "dishonest."

Man up and own it or retract. Pretty simple, really. Are followers of other ideologies than your own, qualified as theists, or all we all "atheists" since we evidently worship a false god or gods?

You got me there. I don't know. I hope someone here has an
explanation. But I think we are lacking any heavyweight thinkers
on this forum.

If you stop looking into everything with your fault finding mentality - you will not get things mixed up as often as you do.

I have never said Hinduism is false.

I have said that - it is not what I present.

The Hinduism of to-day is a hodge-podge of collections of Vedic writings - not giving the correct conclusion of Vedanta Sutra.

Because Hinduism does not give the correct conclusion and misleads persons - then I disassociate myself from it.

Remember that the word Hindu is a current concoction in itself - and it is describing persons who worship demi-Gods.

Vedanta presents the worship of Vishnu and the Supreme personality of Godhead.

This is what I present - the worship of the Supreme Personality of Godhead.

Vishnu is an expansion of the Supreme Personality of Godhead.

Demi-Gods are not expansions of God.....so persons who worship demigods are not worshipping the Lord.

An yet you have frequently said that all religions apart from your one are "false".So Hindu is not a "false religion" and therefore not "atheist" in the same way as you say the so-called "false religions" of Christianity, Judaism and Islam are "atheist? Is that what you are saying?

If you ask the question again politely I will respond.

Your launching into an attack first up - is not the way to enquire about spirituality.

Hinduism is not false............but confused and mixed up and it often presents incorrect knowledge (but not deliberately)

Hinduism has a culture of grandma said this and grandpa said that around the camp fire -- and so most Indians have "not very well understood stories" to go by for their religious foundation.
