I respect avalnchethecats views, as always, but am just trying to clear up any misunderstandings.
For example, if your assertion was not a joke, you need only the answer my question.
The truth will come out, (with me anyway), and you wont feel the need to be defensive about your position and you 'll find us (me and you), in a whole different place/space, where the "fear/intimidation thing" will no longer be a problem between us .(If it is not a problem already, just say so. It just means I'm a bit slow, as usual)

Post after post you offer not much in the way of actual "meat" for discussion. Most of your posts seem to consist of picking apart others' arguements. Especially Dasa's.
How about, in the spirit of spirituality, you look beyond the negative points and actually engage in some of Dasa'a questions on a hypothetical level?(like Agerg does) Could be a bit of fun?
Of course that is just a suggestion from someone who you must first anylize to see if their words have any merit. ( Thats right isn't it? You have to trust someone before you would seriously consider listening to what they have to say,right? _
edit: Of course what vishva/Dasa said to you about being a pig in his own stool (I forget the exact quote, but you know the one), was TOTALLY out of line in ANY post imo. He should've apologized for that one , without qualification, immediately.
That sort of language/behaviour is despicable by anyone and I noticed you have SEEMED a bit more ticked off since and been on a bit of a "Dasa hunt". All understandable from my view. I'd be ticked off too if someone spoke like that to me, especially given that he'd only just met you.

All this matter swirling around...
I guess there's a literal reincarnation. Material gets passed on and used for different functions and events. I mean, the matter that makes up you gets replaced every so often. All these letters get rearranged to make different meanings. Contexts and interpretations *yawn*
I guess your actions can set some ripples in the universal pond. Everything being a response to everything else, you can set up some conditions to have something accommodate it.
Now, I'm reincarnated as a chimp. I fling my feces because I think they smell better than the others' (and it is, considering my god ordained attitude, my divine will). I was a snail looking up at the mountain we all climb. Because I did good to others, I stand on my two legs.
Reincarnation/spiritual progression, why mess with the semantics? We're constantly changing- our ideals, our behaviors, our responses- and to break up the distinctions amongst lives is meaningless. Things are not so set into stone (and even if they were, stones wear away), this collection of atoms I call me is so temporary. There is a much bigger picture out there on the shoreline. Grains of sand fretting because we weren't directly aware of the rock we were grinded away from, and in fear of being turned into glass. I breathe the air of my ancestors and pump the blood of my descendants.
We're all in this together. We're all reincarnations of each other. The universe has manifested itself- it's material being used to come up with all these different things. Rocks, creatures, planets. Or all images of god's thought, whatever your style.

Out of the people who read it, what percentage (out of the posters in the last month) of poster would've read that post while keeping an open mind and truly considering,(in a positive,trtuthful light) the words that ua is trying to convey?
I reckon about 10-15% of readers can read that without putting their own bent on it before they even reach the end of the first sentence.

I have even said sense pleasure is available to the hogs, dogs camels and asses....so why are humans so proud of their pleasure seeking and make it their life's ambition......so you can see that it is not personalizing anyone in particular, and the quote about the pig is of the same style and is not directed personally to a particular person.
FMF should apologize to you and myself for being an agitator and trouble maker.
In fact I am going to start a thread that will be a challenge to FMF .....to discuss spirituality/religion....and the whole forum can be witness to FMF,s games.

I started a thread about my spirituality and it ran for more or less 400 posts and attracted comment and question from many of this Forum's most interesting posters. You chose to ignore that thread, for all intents and purposes, so what is and what is not "meat" in your mind, is a matter for you and not me.
I don't recall "picking apart" any of what you refer to as Dasa's "arguments". Do you read my posts at all? As far as I am concerned he is free to believe what he wants and entertain whatever "arguments" he wants. I have not called him a liar and I have not abused or insulted him.
I have simply rejected his constant assertions that his belief system is also mine - "whether [I] like it or not, tough luck" - and his assertions that I am [and others are] being dishonest and fabricating nonsense when we do not accept what he says and submit to the same "authority" he submits to.
If you find Dasa's "arguments" full of "meat" that is fine. I have no reason to doubt your sincerity.
