-Removed-You have my sympathy for that. I read the OP, I haven't read the whole thread so sorry if this has already come up. In the OP you talk about your opposition to organised religion. I'll just quote a line:
I am somewhat of an island in that I don't mix in organised religion, but I do have fellowship. As you may have gathered from other threads I'm an agnostic, if I believed I would be an Anglican (although technically I'm a Presbyterian but if I did believe I wouldn't agree with predestination) I'm just mentioning this to give you an idea of where I'm coming from.
Onto the question: in Christianity communion is a central part. How do you either get communion without being in an organised church, is this part of your fellowship? Or do you not regard it as essential to being a "real Christian"? I would but then again I'm not.

Great as we all need mercy to be shown towards ourselves too.
I have no doubt you would probably be willing to give anything you have to help a neighbor.
But how far does your neighbor or neighborhood extend out? A block, a mile, or maybe all around the globe?
What if they believe different then you, maybe a diiferent color? Are they still ...[text shortened]... and about our god would last forever.
Would that not be the ultimate "loving your neighbor"?
