I just found another contradiction.

In Genesis 6 God floods the world, but in the next chapter he does not and promises not to flood the world.

Very bizarre.

From the 2nd post on previous page. (Now the page before that. Page 14).

'EX 34:6-7, HE 9:27 God remembers sin, even when it has been forgiven.'

Apparently, I removed it,.....and then put it back. 🙄

Edit: Will Romans acknowledge his mistake? The heck he will.

“And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:”

(Hebrews 9:27)

How this has anything to do with God forgiving or not forgiving sin is beyond me.

Actually, I will. The Hebrews 9:27 citation was removed from the third post from the top on the previous page.

Edit: And I pointed out the Hebrews citation was erroneous in the post that immediately followed it.

Do you deny removing the Hebrews citation from the third post on the top of the previous page after I called you out on it?

Readers will note that Romans will not admit his mistake and false claims. No surprise there.

Apparently, I have the superhuman ability to replace info into a post a day later.

(Again, STILL there, page 14, second post).

You removed the citation from the third post from the top on page 15 after I pointed out it was erroneous in the post that immediately followed it. I simply got the location wrong of where you did your devious and dishonest editing.

Do you deny removing the Hebrews citation from the third post from the top on page 15?

Atheists may do better at IQ tests but religious folk are far more talented at legos

Well, Atheists apparently have the magical ability to edit posts a full 24 hours after they were made, so your lego talents are not so impressive. 😵

The sin, spanning over generations is referred to in some commentary as a generational curse. Likened to things we see current day that are passed on from parents to children. Child abuse, sexual abuse, addiction problems, etc. Not to say that an individual w ...[text shortened]... racter contradicts itself by "visiting iniquity" for some and forgiving individuals at judgment.
Okay, Tom. Firstly, I asked, "If God is 'unchanging' why are sins forgiven and forgotten in one context and held against future generations in another (even though forgiven). I don't think you have really grasped that bull by the horns yet. As an example I quoted:

Jeremiah 31:34 "...for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more."

And EX 34:6-7, "...maintaining love to thousands, and forgiving wickedness, rebellion and sin. Yet he does not leave the guilty unpunished; he punishes the children and their children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation.”

'The above' is how God's character contradicts itself. - In regards to visiting iniquity, doesn't that relate to unrepentant sinners? And further isn't the idea discredited by passages reporting that "sons shall not be put to death for their fathers." etc etc

But what you seem to be arguing (or at least would better argue) is that God treating one person this way and another person that way is simply unfair.

It's certainly not a contradiction on the character of God. The bible clearly states that God does treat people differently.

LOL!

You refuse to address whether you deviously and dishonestly removed the Hebrews citation from the third post from the top on page 15 after I spanked you because you know you did.

You got caught red-handed posting a Bible verse that had nothing to do with God forgetting or remembering sins because you were just mindlessly copy-and-pasting from an atheist website and passing the “work” off as your own.

Sad!

You’re busted!

Nice!

Once again - and let’s all sing along - you removed the Hebrews citation from the third post from the top on page 15 after I pointed out it was erroneous in the post that immediately followed it. It was devious and dishonest editing and you got busted.

You refuse to say whether you removed the Hebrews citation from the third post from the top on page 15 because you know you did and got spanked because of it.

You’re busted, Heartpence!

It's like trying to impress your father who constantly rejects you.

Oh, the pain! 😞
