@medullah saidSonship reminds me of this warning from Paul
@sonship
Three sections on this last page and five sections on page 1
Irrespective of what anyone’s take is on Galveston at least he doesn’t try and make us suffer multiple page cut and paste of The Watchtower which is what effectively you are doing.
Bang out of order sir !!!!
Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them. For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple. (Romans 16:17-18 KJV)
Sonship preaches a doctrine
- contrary to Christ and the Apostles
- He leaves out many passages that speak of keeping the commandments, even condemning those who do good works
- He promotes the doctrine of Witness Lee which is mouth worship -- eg Lee preaches that saying 'O Lord' three times, gives you eternal life and not even God can cast you out, after saying that, even though you live in sin.
- He does not serve Jesus Christ but his own belly and his own greed
- By his nice words and fair speeches he deceives the simple minded.
He is a dangerous man.
I wrote above to medullah:
Sometimes I am less verbose. Often brevity only generates snarks, retorts and pointing out what I did not write which I should have.
Case in point: Notice this critic Rajk999 says I left out something I should have written about.
He leaves out many passages that speak of keeping the commandments, even condemning those who do good works

"The archangel, Michael, is the chief angel in terms of power and authority. The Scriptures clearly indicate that Michael is another name for Jesus Christ."
1 Thessalonians 4:16; Jude 9.
"Seraphs rank very high among the angels in privileges and honor, and they are in attendance around God’s throne.—Isaiah 6:1-3."
"Cherubs too have high rank and care for special responsibilities that are intimately associated with the Almighty’s glorious personage. They are often shown to be in attendance upon him."—Genesis 3:24; Ezekiel 9:3; 11:22.
"The myriads of other angelic messengers serve as the Most High’s agents and deputies in carrying out the divine will." —Hebrews 1:7, 14.

"Michael" = "Who is like God" does not simply have to be another name for Jesus = Jehovah our Savior or Joshua (Heb), Messiah.
The other angel named is Gabriel which means "God is my strength".
With as much insistent speculation one could insist that was "another name for Jesus Christ" as well.
I am not finished yet. I am trying to accommodate those who want short discussion.
"Seraphs rank very high among the angels in privileges and honor, and they are in attendance around God’s throne.—Isaiah 6:1-3."
I understand. But John's Gospel equates Isaiah 6:1-3 as an epiphany of JESUS - See John 12:41
These things said Isaiah the prophet because he saw His (Christ's) glory and spoke concerning Him.
In Isaiah 6 the prophet spoke not so much of the glory of the seraphs but of Jehovah on the throne - the King of Israel.
"Cherubs too have high rank and care for special responsibilities that are intimately associated with the Almighty’s glorious personage. They are often shown to be in attendance upon him."—Genesis 3:24; Ezekiel 9:3; 11:22.
That gives you no ground to say Michael is another name for Jesus Christ.
It would be more of the truth to say Jesus Christ in Genesis 3:24 is represented by the tree of life being guarded by the cherubim of glory.
It is definitely Jesus in the Bible who is the life of God.
"In Him was life . . . "
"I am the way the truth and the life . . ."
" I am the resurrection and the life . . . "
"I came that they may have life . . . "
"I am the bread of life . . . "
"Christ our life . . . "
Wake Up. Rather than the cherubim guarding the way to the tree of life being Jesus Christ, the tree of life more points to Him who came to be life, eternal and divine life to man.
And He is the one who went to the cross to REMOVE the barrier between sinful man and the life of God. By His redemptive death and resurrection He removed the barrier between man and the life of God man was alienated from.
Fallen man " . . . being alienated from the life of God" (Eph. 4:18) .
@galveston75 saidThis is no better than what Trinitarians do... Confuse God and Christ. You are confusing Michael and Jesus Christ the Son of God. They are two separate and distinct entities. What benefit is there in doing that? Does it make you wiser? Does it bring you closer to God, closer to the Kingdom of God? What?

The answer is that that doctrine brings you closer to your church, and puts you further from God. Just like the Trinity and other false doctrines
@sonship saidSorry but there is no indication at all that Gabriel is Jesus. It sounds like you're trying to add a 4th spirit being into the trinity? Nahhh.

Anyway yes I have from time to time had long post. Sometimes it is necessary. But as had been stated before there really isn't the need for so many. Some here including myself just don't think that's needed to get your points out.
But I will say that you are very serious in the efforts you do to get your ideas out to us and that's ok.
@rajk999 saidWhat a bunch of silliness...... So yes I gained 5 points of wisdom, 25 points for getting closer to Jehovah and a whopping 300 points from God's kingdom. I'm doing good huh? Yep I am....

@galveston75 saidSilliness is the appropriate word for trying to prove Michael is Jesus. Actually it is far more silly than the Trinity doctrine which you condemn.

@rajk999 saidI can tell you that Michael definitely isn't Gabriel as when Gabriel was having a punch-up in the book of Daniel Michael rolled up hisd sleeves and did some slapping to help him out (I paraphrase here)
