Deliberately so. I wanted to see what you'd say. Now, you say you "can totally relate"? And yet throughout 2016 you just ignored it, pretended I hadn't said anything... and ...[text shortened]... out with "I can totally relate and empathize with you". You strike me as being totally bogus. 😉
You don't have to believe me. The fact that you view my questions as a piss-take ritual may be your perception, but you have been avoiding many of the questions or only giving superficial, generic answers. The fact that I think your faith wasn't based on reason and that you were just following the crowd, doesn't mean I can't relate or empathize with you.

Trying to have a conversation with you is like trying to leave a message on an answer machine that just asks the same two or three questions over and over again but doesn't record what anyone says.

Which two or three questions that you have fully answered have I repeated?

I've been telling you about it all along, thread by thread, sometimes day by day, and you have simply blanked it out and pretended that you're not doing so. And now you ask me this? Like I said, you are like an answer machine that simply doesn't record the messages that anyone leaves.

Surely then you would be able to quote the exact question that I have repeated day by day.

So by 'honesty and transparency' you mean deflecting the questions that I ask you straight back at me without answering them? What have I been dishonest about?

All the ones that he says he can't bother to type the answer to since he has posted 30,000 odd posts which I need to go and revisit.

FMF: "I used to believe - like all Christians do - that the Bible was divinely inspired." Believing something simply because all other people do and for no other reason is just 'following the crowd'.

Another question that I have asked you that you have simply deflected back at me with out answering it. Another prime example of your honesty and transparency?

Where did I say that I believed that the Bible was divinely inspired "simply because all other people do and for no other reason"? That is a completely dishonest characterization of what I said. To arrive at a paraphrasing like this you basically have to deliberately ignore almost everything I said.

By 'all the other people' in obviously mean 'the other people that had the same faith as you had'. If you didn't find it compelling because they found it compelling what was the real reason then?
