[b] What absolute complete nonsense.

Romans the entire book is not nonsense.
I consider that charge as bordering on blasphemy.
The Apostles words are a direct quotation from the Hebrew of Joel 2:32
The flow of his instruction connects his quotation of J ...[text shortened]... t the so-called scholaship of the NWT. And just in case you didn't know, I have read some of it.

The Lord's apostle connects Joel 2:32 with the instruction to confess and call upon the name of the Lord Jesus Christ to be saved - in private or in public and to believe that God raised Him from the dead.

"That if you confess with your mouth JESUS as Lord and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." (v.9)
In verses 10 - 13 he reinforces this instruction and confirms it finally with a reference of Joel 2:32.
However you try to spin it - Jesus is Jehovah in reality and Jehovah is Jesus in the new covenant.

I'm aware many people here are Christians, and I'm just curious as to what translation of The Bible you personally read and why.
I was looking for your responses to others comments, Marshall, and there were none. Did you leave us?

My thought is that as God talks to each of us in His own special way, whether being a Christian, Buddhist, American Indian or even an Atheist. It doesn't really matter how God talks to us, what matters is, do we listen.

Certainly, it must drive Him nuts to see mankind being so inhuman to each other.
My belief, knows, God loves. And it is in love we find Him
