In your next responce if you could comment on the question I asked that would be appreciated.
But to answer your question first, is no we are not left to interpret the Bible on our own as many here do including yourself. Jesus never taught that and none in those early followers did as they saw fit. Nor did the congregations interpret on their own but t and condemn us for this way just as Jesus started himself and told us to continue to do...
.. if God does not speak directly to people then obviously we are left to interpret the Bible on our own. plus you have ignored the issue of your organisation being 100% wrong on all Bible prophesies that the made since inception and these amount to many hundreds.

Originally posted by Rajk999Good point as far as the Sun,Moon and Stars being used for signs and seasons......I agree that if something flat out contradicts the bible then that is a problem. Truth is we have no clue other than what the bible reveals. I don't think the canopy theory is totally without some merit as a vast amount of water came out of the sky. I agree in that what the bible reveals about God however is true but other things are left kinda vague and not known.
Wondering and research should not lead to conclusions which contradict the Bible. There are many contradictions in saying that there was a canopy. Galveston thinks its just a word but then he sounds like the Catholics who say that Trinity is just a word. Is waht the word means.
Galveston said that the canopy was so thick that it is likely that it blocked ...[text shortened]... years: [/i]
How can you use the sun, moon and stars for signs and you cannot even see these?

Really? Ok it's your life to think as you want.
If however you are coming to tell people that they should follow the JWs and the WT then thats a different matter. First you have to show to people why with a 100% failure rate in bible prophecy you think that you belong to Gods chosen organsiation and why should anyone believe what the WT preaches.

How does God speak to man in this current age? My best Sunday school answer is through the bible but I'm not going to limit God to my finite mind and be so dogmatic as God can speak to man in many ways and does.
Manny
So following the normal and established way he sends all the people of this country a message, command or instructions, is how? Maybe the VP will send that message futher down the line or a congressman or another representative is how we here wha the has to say.
Jesus again is called God's "Word" or ambassador or spokesman. This is a very good clue as to who we would hear from before God himslef would speak to any of us.
Then Jesus called his apostles "ambassadors to the world" to take his place until he would finally take the authority of God's Kingdom when it was time for his father to hand it over to him.
So now the question is does Jesus talk to us or does he have ones he works thru to teach and spread his messages? How did he do that while on earth and later after he was gone?

Originally posted by Rajk999You know that Satan is against God and anyone who sides with him and his Kingdom. One way to trick all he can into not believing in God or to discredit him and his Kingdom is to try and pursuade all that he can in to not believing that it does not exist and that he does not have any representation of that Kingdom here on earth.
The whole idea of asking loaded questions with the sole aim of promoting the doctrine of the Watchtower is getting old around here. Everybody is tired of your tactics.
That explination of this Kingdom is in the Bible as Jesus set up himself with those early Christians as an example of what it would be again in the last days.
So if one is also trying to deflect that truth and even condemns and discredits it and even denies that it exist and that one does not need such an organization to be a follower of Jehovah and his son Jesus, I wonder who their master is? It certianly is not God.
You might even recite the "lords prayer" which in itself speaks of God's Kingdom being oin earth as it is in heaven", but yet you deny it completely and especially it's earthly counterpart.
