Case in point.

Case in point again.

@dj2becker saidThe patting each other on the back shows it is other people not the scriptures that are the true foundation for their stances. The sad thing is they even question the love of God towards sinners, it was while we were yet sinners dead in our sins, that Christ came to die for us, that God sent His only Son. It was sin that produced the death in us to begin with us, it is our sinful hearts that require God bring us back into a relationship with Him in the Spirit so we can be reborn, born again.
Lol that’s just because he happens to agree with you.
This cannot not be done by the actions of man, who are dead to due to sin, but the rebirth through God in us. The amazing thing in all of this is there are words that Christ uses as "must be" that are ignored while they have to add to the text to make is say what they want, and they have to twist what others say to make them say what they want to accuse them of.
John 3:6-8 King James Version (KJV)
That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.
The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.
@dj2becker saidPaul wrote to judge nothing until the Day of the Lord.
According to Rajk999 ‘Saved is not equal to eternal life’.
Does this mean you can be saved but still be lost?
Is there any scriptural support for this claim?
@eladar saidAt least we agree on something.
Paul wrote to judge nothing until the Day of the Lord.
There is only one exception. This is concerning the elect. Their place in the Kingdom of God is assured. Eg the 12 disciples, the 70 or others sent out who Jesus said their names are written in the book of life. There are others that Jesus said no one can pluck them out if his Fathers hand.
The idea some Christians have that they are the elect and their place is assured is delusional.

How exactly does this make logical sense?
Especially in light of the fact that you completely ignored the passages I cited and either didn't understand what Rajk999 was saying or intentionally side-stepped it.

@thinkofone saidExactly. KJ knows only that he has Gods Spirit and that he picks up his cross daily. Thats about it. Never once is he able to quote what Jesus said about good works, righteousness and what happens to those who continue to sin.

@thinkofone saidI don't ignore the passages you cite, I ignore you. You don't answer questions to the truths you set forward, you simply repeat personal attacks. I actually agree with Rajk999 quite a bit, but where we disagree it goes to the most fundamental truths of the gospel, also some of the same places you fall apart when it comes to scriptural truths.

Who makes us righteous, ourselves or Jesus Christ? If is us by doing anything, we then are earning our righteous before God. If we confess our sins, repent and rely on Jesus' Christ, it is Jesus who makes us righteous not ourselves, it is Jesus who redeems us not our efforts.
Does this doctrine mean we can now live a life of sin, because Jesus paid for our sins against a Holy God, no! There are some that preach this, but they are damned for good reason!
So what does make us righteous when Jesus does it? God gives us His Spirit, the list of scriptures for this is very long, as is the text that says if we don't have God's Spirit we don't belong to God. God leads us, teaches us, is our Lord and as such we live Godly lives.
Does that mean that once you receive the Holy Spirit you will not sin, and that you cannot walk away, no. The warnings about falling away are given to those that have tasted the Holy Spirit are as real as those who have not. It is those that overcome walking with the Lord that will enjoy enteral life, God's anointing begins in this life to establish us in God's Kingdom.
2 Corinthians 1:21-23 King James Version (KJV)
Now he which stablisheth us with you in Christ, and hath anointed us, is God;
Who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts.
Moreover I call God for a record upon my soul, that to spare you I came not as yet unto Corinth.

@rajk999 saidYou are being a false witness again. I've said repeatedly we will do the works that God has for us to do. You just choose to ignore that as you do the scriptures that say you must be born again, born of the Spirit, have God's Spirit or you don't belong to God. If I'm not mistaken you have even denied knowing Jesus is not necessary as long as you are living a life of good works. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

@kellyjay saidUnless you can make a logical case for your assertion, then you've made a false accusation. Either show how it makes logical sense or retract it and apologize.

He will never once quote Jesus like this
Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not. (Matthew 25:41-43 KJV)
This is a crystal clear untwistable passage about the fate of those who do not do good works.
