@indonesia-phil saidCool. But don’t look at me for an indication of what being a Christian looks like, especially not in the RHP forums.
If you were in the room, dear chap, I'd look you straight in the eye, and buy you a beer.

@divegeester saidI know what Christians look like, they look like everybody else, except they're Christians.

@indonesia-phil saidAnd have a higher chance of wearing a cardigan.

@indonesia-phil saidWrong. In a random disaster, car crash, assistance to the needy etc, the Christians are the ones fleeing the scene and refusing to help. They are told by the church that doing that is trying to earn their salvation. However in a church event eg fundraiser, helping the poor drive, etc, they are present because that is for the Lord, and that earns them brownie points with God.
I know what Christians look like, they look like everybody else, except they're Christians.
@ghost-of-a-duke saidIn the case of the JWs, its the umbrella.
And have a higher chance of wearing a cardigan.
@divegeester saidGenerally speaking though, you chaps always have a tambourine somewhere on your person.
Or with Mormons it’s a backpack
@ghost-of-a-duke saidI gather that there is no onus on believers in Christ to play the tambourine because they are "eternally redeemed" regardless. But if they do good with a tambourine there is Reward.
Generally speaking though, you chaps always have a tambourine somewhere on your person.
@ghost-of-a-duke saidSorry Ghost, but I'm finding all you are good for is a weak joke.
I think 'standing' is a bit of an exaggeration.
(Unless you are propped up by something).
Suzianne likes you, but you generally bring nothing to the Spirituality Forum. How could you?
