God is the mystery surrounding our origin.
Mystery surrounds our origin: this mystery exists.
Therefore God exists.

How am I doing?
Everything that begins to exist has a cause.
The universe began to exist.
The universe has a cause and only Christianity knows how.

You are not doing too well if you are trying to outline the basic cosmological argument for the existence of God. Doing well would be an accurate summary.

If you are not trying to do that but create a caricature in a sarcastic way, maybe you're doing well.

I have never heard any version of the cosmological argument that mentioned Christianity at all.

The true representation of that argument I think is due to a Moslem philosopher. Kalaam I believe was his name. So it is often called the Kalaam Cosmoligical argument. He was not an exponent of Christianity.

And if my history is off a tad here or there, still, no you're not doing too good on that lampoon version of the cosmological argument for the existence of God.

One person's satire is another's sarcasm, I suppose.

I call my OP - and the similar subsequent posts on this thread - satire. You can call them what you want. This is just social media. If our senses of humour don't overlap, that's how the cookie crumbles in cyberspace.

That's how the ball bounces in cyberspace - if someone calls your satire sarcasm.

And the lampoons which you touted out asking "How am I doing?" after each one I take as sneakily saying all manner of evil things about some Christians in a satirical way.

My satirical comments here amount to "evil things"?

What definition of "evil" are you using?
