yes on the same basis that i understand English and Urdu, what of it? you may make reference to the points I have made on the basis of my own understanding if you know anything about it.
Originally posted by RJHindsan authority, so lets get this, one needs to be an authority to read a language, are you an authority on English? and yet here you are able to understand the construct of this sentence, tell why its so different with other languages that one needs to be an authority to read them. I am not an authority on Urdu, but i can read, write and understand it, how do you explain that? that is correct you cannot and your appeals to authority are the usual trinitarian bumf we have become accustomed to.
You forget that I already know that you are not an authority of the Greek New Testament. 😀

its good enough to get a basic understanding of the biblical text, yes.
The "of' that some translator put before "all" should be before "creation" because "creation" is in the singular genitive case in the Greek.
P.S. Also look at the Greek word "prototokos" translated "firstborn" listed as Strong's 4416 and means "firstbegotten" and in this case it refers to the firstbegotten of God. So to get complete undestanding, we should probably translate it "firstbegotten of God (over) any of creation."

Is your ability with Greek and Urdu "on the same basis" as your ability with English?
Is your "basic understanding: of English the same as your "basic understanding" of Urdu for example?
Could you read and understand a Bible in Urdu the same as you would understand it in English?

read and write and have a basic understanding, on the same basis that I can read and
write Urdu and English, naturally as English is my mother tongue I am likely to be more
proficient, as I stated, you can make reference to the reasons i cited, otherwise, I am
uninterested in what appears to me to be some kind of attempt to find a discrepancy in

How many years did you study Urdu? How many years have you spoken it/written it?
How many years did you study Greek? How many years have you spoken it/been able to read it?

something with a spiritual content or take it to general? I repeat, I am uninterested in
anything that is not related to spirituality, your post has nothing of a spiritual content.
even RJHinds at least makes some attempt to reference some reasoning based on a religious text, your post is empty and devoid.
