@ghost-of-a-duke saidDelusions can certainly intensify but that is not what we are discussing here.
Delusions can certainly intensify but that is not what we are discussing here. Both Dive and Suzianne share the same belief that angels exist.
We are discussing whether a claim to have interacted and communicated with angels is a more "intense" or "intensified" delusion than a general belief that angels exist. The fact that, as you say, "delusions can certainly intensify" is a tacit admission that there are levels of delusion.

@ghost-of-a-duke saidHow have I "abandoned" him, though? Suzianne has claimed she interacted and communicated with ghosts and divesgeester has not made that claim. How can it be described as "the same delusion"?
You initially called Suzianne delusional but then in a weakened position abandoned Dive to the same delusion.

@ghost-of-a-duke saidHow was my position "weakened"? I don't see how it was. And what does "abandoned" mean? How can I be said to have "abandoned" divegeester? I am trying to understand your mentality here. "Abandoned"? What do you mean to communicate when you use this word?

@fmf saidYou threw Dive under the bus, sold him down the river, threw him to the wolves.

@ghost-of-a-duke saidI meant "angels".
I've never read Suzianne saying she had communicated with ghosts.
"Ghosts" is in the other example.

@ghost-of-a-duke saidAs I say, I am trying to understand your mentality here. "Abandoned" in what way? What do you mean to communicate when you use this word?
You threw Dive under the bus.

@ghost-of-a-duke saidIn what sense? These are metaphors. Without using a metaphor, how have I "abandoned" him?
You threw Dive under the bus, sold him down the river, threw him to the wolves.

@ghost-of-a-duke saidActually, I don't. But I have been typing quickly on my smartphone.
I know. You often trip over yourself like that.

@Ghost-of-a-Duke
By expressing different perspectives, people "abandon" each other? Is that what you mean?
20 Sep 23
@ghost-of-a-duke saidNo. You are being evasive. None of those metaphors express a coherent analysis of the different perspectives that he and I have.
Why don't you understand metaphors? They explain precisely what I meant.
