It's not my job to convert. It's my job to share. The Holy Spirit does the converting.
v. pros·e·ly·tized, pros·e·ly·tiz·ing, pros·e·ly·tiz·es
v. intr.
To induce someone to convert to one's own religious faith.
By the way, you haven't answered my question about Isaiah's alleged unfailing veracity.
Originally posted by DarfiusYou're kidding about Psalm 22, right? Is that Jesus supposedly speaking? Did his heart melt like wax, too? And was he:

But He was pierced through for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the chastening for our well-being fell upon Him, and by His scourging we are healed.
Isaiah 53:12
Therefore, I will allot Him a portion ...[text shortened]... ivide my garments among them, and for my clothing they cast lots. [/b]
6 But I am a worm, and no man; A reproach of men, and despised of the people.
Did Jesus (God) consider himself a worm?

The OT prophesied it. The NT wrote down what happened and it fulfilled it. What is there to explain?
Originally posted by DarfiusDo you have evidence that Isaiah's prophecy is actual and true to the letter by 100% besides the alleged testimony of persons dead by 2000 years?

Please don't make me out to be a fool, Darfius. You know very well what the question is and what I'm asking you.
You have no proof of such prophecy and the result of that prophecy outside of your faith in it being so from the reading of words in a book. Your belief in such prophecy is fine, but please don't delude yourself and especially others that it is true on the basis of its being factual, as you have no proof other than said words.
Originally posted by eagles54Well, I also have the conviction of the Holy Spirit. Would you like that? Accept Christ. Then you'll know everything I'm talking about.

What other evidence should I present, eagle? A video of the event? These men weren't liars. They died for what they boldly preached. Until you can tell me why I shouldn't believe them, I can only believe you're letting hatred guide your thought process.

Because I take you to task for presenting words in a book that cannot be proven as indisputable fact? That's hatred? Then I'm guilty as charged!
Tell me, does a person who believes "Do unto others...." in their heart of hearts (as I previously stated with conviction) seem like a hater to you?
You've said elsewhere that you have no pastor as of yet. I pray one day you will find a mature, gentle, kindly, wise pastor to guide you. He or she will help you distinguish between genuine, sincere questioning and hatred.

By 'hatred' I meant your obvious disdain for Jesus Christ. I do not believe you're full of hatred, but I do believe you lack the love of Christ in your heart.
Can you please tell me why I should not believe them?
Originally posted by DarfiusYou are now entering the realm of bearing false witness. I have nothing but respect and admiration for the person of Christ. Why would you say such a thing, Darfius?

"My" bones; "My" garments; "My" clothing; then Jesus is calling himself a worm in 22:6. Does it make sense to you that God would consider himself a worm?

It's not like they were big secrets
And since nobody has shown evidence from that time that he even existed, seems a waste of time to be worried about when he might have been predicted.
I prefer to think of Christ as a teacher , anyway. The Apostles were his main students and the johnny-come-lately fit the role of the school yard bully ( ask the Apostle Steven )
btw Why didn't the Apostle Steven write a Gospel?
I know the answer , I wonder if all the Paulines do.
