Psalm 51:5
Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity, And in sin my mother conceived me.

According to the text, I.e. the words written in the bible, we are conceived in sin. Therefore we are estranged from God before we are even born. We are at least atheist in our hearts. If this doctrine is combined with the doctrine of eternal suffering then we have and unspeakably cruel God, whereby children who die young and have had no chance to repent are sent straight to hell. There is no other option provided for in biblical text.

This cannot be right. Therefore something is wrong with one or both of these doctrines.
