Like I said, if you don't want to answer my questions - about the state forcing you and me and the Indonesian population to start worshipping "Baal" - on your own behalf, that's fine by me.

What are your thoughts on this question:

Isn't the eventual installation of their God figures, narratives and traditions ~ as the world's one and only faith ~ the ideal and desired outcome for proactive devotees of pretty much any and all "revealed" religions?

It wont work like that.

If you haven't thought through how it would work, or you don't want to explain, then don't worry about it.

The state wont invite you to worship Baal per say. When you get back on line we can (if you wish) discuss stuff that is creeping in.

So lets suppose we want to get you to commit idolatry. It is forbidden in the scriptures to bow before graven images. A lot of churches will say that it's ok because its Jesus/Mary/a crucifix /N E other. If you have done homage before one you have still done the deed without realising what you have done.

Likewise you could be convinced that shagging sheep up the arse is ok because it relieves their tension; so as an animal lover you think that it's your duty. You have done the deed under a different guise. it's still going in the direction of Baal worship by the back door (if you will forgive the phrase).

Maybe not a great analogy but the best that I can do after a night out.
