Of course in preaching the Gospel the awfulness of sin is good to paint as a background to the wonderfulness of the Lord and Savior Jesus.

Such people who claim to be Christians are wolves in sheep's clothing. They need to be identified and rebuked publicly for all to see.

Agreed?

That may be necessary. I may rebuke you if I find your "gospel" is perverted, ie. exalting some tradition of your cultural background rather than exalting Jesus Christ.

You may rebuke me too. Only Jesus is absolutely for the will of the Father. So we should have our hands full of Christ, and turn always to Christ, and exalt always Christ.

Often to be an example is rebuke enough. You live Christ and be the light of the world.

The churches in Revelation were seven golden lampstands. Lampstands are for shinning out the light of testimony. In the dark night men and women in a community walking by and living by Christ will be a lampstand of testimony. Other things will be exposed in this light.

Your gospel is very much cultivating hatred for liberals, and more hatred for liberals, and more and more hatred for liberals. After a while people will wonder what it is you are being fed. Have you just returned from an alt-right skinhead meeting of some kind ?

Christians should always give the impression that they have just been with Jesus.

" And as they beheld the boldness of Peter and John ... they marveled and they recognized them, that they had been with Jesus." (See Acts 4:13)

You say all this kind of thing to Eladar and yet also refuse to say whether you think he is a better or worse Christian than you or whether Jesus "flows out" of him - a claim you made about defining Christians - on threads about those very subjects. You fobbed me off saying that you didn't want to say anything divisive. So what's the stuff above all about now, then?

The stuff above is about JESUS ! .
Don't you love it?

You seem to want to bring up again and again the matter of the flowing out of the Spirit of Christ. Maybe I'll open a thread on that sometime.

Out of his innermost being shall FLOW rivers of living water. But this He spoke concerning the Spirit. (See John ,,, .... ) eh, go look it up yourself if you're really interested.

Yet so many preach the Jesus of Satan and call that the light for they hate the real light.

No. The 'stuff above' was what I had quoted, which was this:

"Your gospel is very much cultivating hatred for liberals, and more hatred for liberals, and more and more hatred for liberals. After a while people will wonder what it is you are being fed. Have you just returned from an ult-right skinhead meeting of some kind ?"

That was about Eladar and not Jesus.

Yeah, maybe you'll open a thread on that sometime and talk the talk like you do, but when you are asked about walking the walk i.e. real examples, real experiences, real people, real stuff ~ you pout and you deflect and you start making things up and attributing them to the posters causing you inconvenience.

So you talk the talk like a lecturer in an tower made of ivory about one Christian being a better teacher than another, but you can't apply it and say if whodey and Eladar are better Christian teachers than you or not; you talk the talk about how "Jesus flows out" of Christians but it has no application to the Christians here and you can on;y mention people mentioned in an ancient text.

Do you mind explaining what is a relationship with God?

Required for what?

If you draw near to the living God, loving Him, hatred for what draws you away from God will be a byproduct.

If you do not hate sin it is because you do not recognize it as sin. If you do ...[text shortened]... Lord may i see through Your eyes and choose through Your deciding. Christ , LIVE in me. [/quote]
Utter nonsense. Nowhere would you find Jesus telling people to do or say that.

No that too was about Jesus.
Nice try though.

We are to love the liberal just hate the lies he spews. You should know that.

Yes Conservatives can go off the deep end too. Both liberals and many conservatives do not know God.

You're way off the deep end, boy. If Jesus were alive today he'd be a Liberal Democrat.

You believe Jesus supports the killing of unborn children and homosexual marriages?

If so this is just one example of why your name will not be in the book of life.

I believe Jesus supports the right to terminate a pregnancy as well as the right to love and cherish whoever you choose.

Who are you to decide whose name will or will not be in the precious "book of life"?
