@kingdavid403 saidExactly. If you feel your notion of ultimate posthumous cosmic justice somehow makes sense of "good" and "evil", then good for you. We all need to make sense of the world, and the human condition, as best we can.
And what bearing does your belief in divine law and divine reward and divine punishment have on "percentage of people [who may have ever or] never done anything evil in their lives"?
None.

Sir, you have absolutely no idea what I believe today. I will say: "Jesus is Lord."

I agree with you one-hundred percent. I wish you the best on your journey; God Bless. 🙂
@kingdavid403 saidIf you say "Jesus is Lord" then I have a pretty good idea of what you believe. I have been around people saying that all my life and I even used to say it myself.

Well, there you go then; I guess. However, with all the different Christian religions around the world, and their differences in everything, and how they have continually changed over time, along with my own personal beliefs, You presently have not much to go on; other than "Jesus is Lord."
I have been around people saying that all my life and I even used to say it myself.
I understand; and, I already knew this as you have mentioned it in the past some time ago. I really do wish you the best in your journey of life. Just remember, the people whom had Jesus murdered were most of the religious leaders of that day. Jesus was always chewing out the religious leaders; and, they were continually trying to kill Him His whole life, until He laid His Life down for us.. Anyways, as you said, "you already know this;" my best wishes. 🙂
@kingdavid403 saidJesus was executed by the Romans for sedition; he wasn't murdered.
Just remember, the people whom had Jesus murdered were most of the religious leaders of that day.
@kingdavid403 saidSo, you saying I "don't have much to go on" is a bit wide of the mark.
@fmf said
You saying "Jesus is Lord" is plenty.
I know; It's Everything. 🙂
@fmf saidYou may be correct. I've actually thought of this same thing before. Kinda like deja vu to me.
The idea that Jesus was "murdered" by the Jews is what lead to [1] centuries and centuries of persecution, [2] Martin Luther's filthy antisemitism and [3] it laid the Christian groundwork for the extermination camps in the 1940s. In other words: steady on.
@fmf saidWhat's the mark?
So, you saying I "don't have much to go on" is a bit wide of the mark.
@kingdavid403 said"Wide of the mark" is a common turn of phrase. If you don't know what it means, so be it.
