The Spirit is important, very, very important.
It is only as "the Spirit" God can live within us.

God has billions maybe of creatures for whom God is OUTSIDE and ABOVE.
He has billions maybe for whom He is a reigning King.

God wants billions for whom He is reigning from WITHIN.
And for that He dispensed the Spirit, the Holy Spirit INTO man.

How about some students of the word of God give a month to just research everything the New Testament has to say about "the Spirit" ?

What did the last Adam become ?
What have I said many times (yet not I but the word of God) the last Adam became ?

' So also it is written, "The first man, Adam, became a living soul" ; the last Adam became a life giving Spirit.' (1 Cor. 15:45)

This very important because you have TWO heads of the human race:
Adam as a living soul over the old race.
Christ as a life giving Spirit over a new race.

Or we should say Christ as the divine life imparting Holy Spirit as HEAD of a new humanity. The old humanity does not have God WITHIN. The new humanity is from the old one yet has received God in Christ as life giving Spirit within.

Funny how you think that the more you talk about it the more YOU have it, and the less others talk about the the less they have it. Your doctrine is that mouthers and talkers have the spirit and they have eternal life .. they have it all.

So far you cannot address the critical question of how does one go about getting this Spirit of God, and you will continue to fail to do this because you simply do not know.

You are a talker and God hates talkers.

I WOULD that we all would be holy.
All this talk about man made words repeated as if it came from a god.

Amen to that! The Spirit is everything. The Spirit is Christ Himself.

In Romans 8 the Spirit intercedes for the saints with groanings which cannot be uttered.

"Moreover, in like manner the Spirit also joins in to help us in our weakness, for we do not know how to pray is fitting, but the Spirit Himself INTERCEDES for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

But He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is because He intercedes for the saints according to God." (Rom. 8:26,27)

Praise the Lord that the Holy Spirit Who has "the mind of the Spirit" intercedes for the believers in Jesus, according to God.

This Spirit Who intercedes for the saved, is the very same Christ Who is both in the saints and interceding at the right hand of God!

"Who is he who condemns? It is Christ Jesus who died, rather, who was raised, who is also at the right hand of God, who also INTERCEDES for us." (v.34)

What a marvelous mystery. Christ is in the believers as the Spirit and is also at the right hand of God in the third heavens. Since God is omnipresent though, how could anything be on His "right hand" ? It is an expression meaning Christ the God-man is preeminently associated with the totality of God..

Funny how you think that the more you talk about it the more YOU have it, and the less others talk about the the less they have it. Your doctrine is that mouthers and talkers have the spirit and they have eternal life .. they have it all.

Go learn what this means -

" And having the same spirit of faith according to that which is written, 'I believed, therefore I SPOKE,' we also believe, therefore we also speak. " (2 Cor .4:13)

Funny how you say the Spirit is "very, very, very, very important" but don't put two words together to explain why. You are only good for some vain condemnation of those who believe and speak.

Who shall bring a charge against God's chosen ones ? It is Christ Who died and rose for us and Who is at the right hand of God interceding for us.

So far you cannot address the critical question of how does one go about getting this Spirit of God, and you will continue to fail to do this because you simply do not know.

You seem not to be able to put two consecutive sentences together to explain why the Spirit is important.

The Spirit is Christ the available. In this very chapter of Romans 8 the Spirit of God is Christ.

" But you are not in the flesh, but in the [human] spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Yet if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not of Him.

But if CHRIST is in you ... " (Rom. 8:9,10a)

Christ is interchangeably used with "the Spirit of God"
Christ is interchangeably used with "the Spirit of Christ".

Christ is very important because apart from Him the Christian can do nothing (John 15:4) .

OF course we should SPEAK and SPEAK the truths of the word of God as we enter into the rich experience of these truths. They overcame the accuser of the brothers by the blood of the Lamb and by "the WORD of their testimony".

You want to shut up the speaking mouths of the saints because you are doing Satan's work.

Whoever bewitched you won't bewitch me. I have begun in and by the Spirit of God and will go on to be PERFECTED by the same Spirit of Christ.

" Are you so foolish? Having begun by the Spirit, are you now being perfected by the flesh ?" (Gal. 3:3)

Maybe you never began by the Spirit to begin with.

Then how come He says to make mention that His name is exalted ?

" Make His deeds known among the peoples; Remind them that His name is exalted." (Isaiah 12:4)

Go learn what this means.

"I love the Lord because He HEARS MY VOICE, my supplication,

Because He inclines His ear to me;

Therefore I will call upon Him all my days." (Psalm 116:1,2)

You are well known for two doctrines:

1. That a man just needs to accept Christ with his mouth and he is given eternal life and this cannot change ... not even by God.

2. That Christians are not required to adhere to the commandments of Christ.

Both are a clear violation of the Doctrine of Christ. So you can call yourself saint and minister, and refer to me a Satan all you like ... nobody cares.

However Jesus will deal with you at the appointed time because here in one statement He condemns your two favourite teachings:

Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.

And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.(Matthew 7:21-27 KJV)

You are like the foolish man who hears the teachings of Christ and you doeth them not

The essence of these teachings are repeated over and over by all the Apostles so you have no excuse.

Where in this passage does it say "DON'T SPEAK" ?

Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name?

Where in this passage does it say DO NOT call to the Lord ?
Where does it say "Do not prophesy" ?

and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

Where here does it say do not call on the name of the Lord?

And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Where does it say those who call Lord, or those who use their mouths to speak, will for THAT REASON alone be told to depart from Him ?

Is the Lord God against talking ? No.
Is the Lord God against VAIN talking? Yes.

Have I encouraged VAIN talking or VAIN calling or VAIN speaking or VAIN praising or VAIN using of the mouth ever ? No I have not.

Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them,

Where does He say here "Don't Speak" ?

In His teaching, does He not also teach us to pray (which may require speaking) ? Yes He does.

I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: And the rain descended,

Where does He say to SPEAK or be heard SPEAKING or PRAISING is ipso facto building your house upon the sand ?

and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.

Where does He say you cannot speak if you build your house upon His teaching as the rock ?

Is God against speaking per se? NO.
Is God against VAIN SPEAKING ? Yes.

Did I encourage or teach anyone here to speak vainly?
I teach people to speak, to praise, to pray, to read, to petition and intercede and even command, not in vain but with reality of the experience of God.

Go learn what the Apostle Paul admonished the saints to SPEAK to one another:

" Speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and psalming with your heart to the Lord.

Giving thanks at all times for all things in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to God our Father." (Eph. 5:19-20)

How come he didn't say like you "God hates talkers" ?

And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.(Matthew 7:21-27 KJV)

Where in this passage does He forbid talking ?

" Let your speech be always with grace, ..." (Col. 4:6a)

How come it doesn't say " God hates talkers. Don't have any speech" ?

Where in this passage does it say "DON'T SPEAK" ?..
You discourage Christians from following the commandments of Christ, which you claim are not necessary, is legalistic and you constantly refer to Christ's commandments in a derogatory fashion... even starting many threads preaching that those who follow Christ's commandments are followers of Satan and preaching the doctrine of the Devil.

Here is a nice passage for you to prayread:

Jesus cried and said, He that believeth on me, believeth not on me, but on him that sent me. And he that seeth me seeth him that sent me.

I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness.

And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world. He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.

For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak. And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak.(John 12:44-50 KJV)

In simpler language:
1. If you believe in Christ you also believe in God
2. If you believe in Christ you will abide in the light and not in the dark
3. If you hear Christs commandments and do not believe then God will judge you [NOT Christ] in the last day
4. Everything Christ says comes from God and Gods word gives eternal life.

Those who do not follow Christ's commandments are going to be in for a rough time.

God says to follow Christ's commandments, but you continue to preach otherwise.

Come on Robbie, Dive has shared his beliefs on numerous occasions. Granted, he hasn't printed them into booklets and knocked on my door while i'm cooking dinner to hand them to me,...but then who on earth does that?

I disagree, his beliefs are a hotchpotch of Calvinism, ethereal fairyness and happy clappy tambourine playing snake dancing Southern Baptists. Half the time I think he just makes them up as he goes along. He is also prepared to dispense with wholesome Biblical teaching for expediency's sake, a lukewarm weak and whimpy Christian if ever there was one. I by contrast am a tall tree of righteousness! solid and rock like, firm and steady in all my ways!
