@divegeester saidWhich is why you don’t know what you are talking about when it comes to scriptural truth you make it up as you go.
Spiritual “truth” is subjective.
@divegeester saidYou brought it up if you don’t know, why bring it up? If you think everything in scripture is subjective why attempt to hold me to something that is only subjective? Dear you indeed!
Don’t you know?
Dear me!

@divegeester saidDo you know what subjective means?
You are mistaken, I do know what I’m talking about, but it is subjective.
@kellyjay saidIf you believe that spiritual “truth” is objective, then you are getting high off the fumes of your own faith. It does not matter how very, very, very sure you are about how you "know" what "the truth" is in these matters, it does not transform your personal opinions and aspirations into "objectivity".

@kellyjay saidYou may be TRYING to mock me, KellyJay, but it's tantamount to belittling yourself. Every assertion about supernatural things anyone makes "holds" exactly the amount of "water" with respect to "the truth" that the believer tells him or herself is so.
No, I am mocking you! If everything everyone says holds no water respect to truth all of your objections are also meaningless.
@kellyjay saidSo is your own supposed everlasting life/immortality no longer a key part of the set of personal opinions about "the truth" [a.k.a. faith] that you propagate?
Nothing I said had anything to do with immortality.
Your claim that your own immortality is part of the "only meta-narrative" that makes "logical sense" to you is a rhetorical subjective elephant in the room in every conversation you have about "the [supposed] truth", whether you type out the words or not.
@kellyjay saidYou are the one who holds that the bible is 100% accurate and 100% truth KellyJay.
You brought it up if you don’t know, why bring it up? If you think everything in scripture is subjective why attempt to hold me to something that is only subjective? Dear you indeed!
And here you are in this thread brazenly disobeying it while seemingly pretending you don’t know of the scripture.
So, do you know of the scripture I’m referring to, or not?

@fmf saidYou saying that scripture is or isn’t objective is making a declaration about it that is very definitive. You are also doing the same thing about everyone who has a view on its validity and truthfulness. But that is just your opinion do what!

@fmf saidYou are telling me everything is an opinion, and your opinion is better than mine

as you compare yourself to me, it tells me how hypocritical and arrogant you are.
Every assertion you make about my beliefs denying the truth of them shows even
you don't believe the crap you spew out.
You claimed you were a Christian, so you left God, turned away from the One who
is the Truth, to create all your own truth as you eat the apple and now oppose the
very one who created you. You now deny everything anyone tells you that doesn't
fit your opinion telling everyone how the truth in their lives is nothing while you
seem to think everything you believe because you desire them to be is true.
Your opinion is only good between your ears if everyone's opinion is all there is.
That is not how we behave; we study the universe around us because we know
that reality carries something in it that we should know, then our opinions as we
speculate it should lead us to knowledge greater than us. No matter how some
feel one way or another, reality is what it is; Jesus is who He is no matter how
much you deny Him now; the One you once loved now argue against from
Christian to Anti-Christ, what a journey you have made.

@kellyjay saidI am not being a hypocrite at all. You're not using the word correctly. If you are constantly belittling yourself with the silly things you say, no wonder you perceive me as arrogant.
You are telling me everything is an opinion, and your opinion is better than mine
