Discount the one chapter? Or is it discount a faulty assumption based on what one verse says?

I am asking you whether you are happy basing your doctrine of salvation on one chapter of the Bible and ignoring every other scripture that mentions the same topic?
Christ and the Apostles said the same thing all over New Testament.
You want to see some more references?

Exactly so if one portion of scripture says we are not saved by works then it would be an error to interpret Matthew 25 to mean that we can be saved by works. Especially when Matthew 25 does not explicitly say we are saved by works and when another portion of scripture does explicitly say that we are not saved by works.
You have misunderstood Pauls teachings.
I already discussed this with you some time ago.

Do you want to discuss it again, rather than cross question me?

Deflect it is.

Who is the man who claimed that people go to heaven and when i asked for proof you could find none?

Who is the man who said that God does the final judgment and not Christ. When I produced proof that the Bible says otherwise you just shut up and changed the subject?

You are a dunce, trolling these forums trying to make statements that are unbiblical.

I understand 'we are not saved by works' to mean exactly that. You understand it to mean we are saved by works, and now you think I am the one that doesn't understand. 🙄

Ok. Earlier I said this:

.. Jesus is the judge of who is following and who is not. I dont talk about peoples works and how much they must do. I will leave that to fools like you. I state what the Bible says .:

- Jesus saves, all of mankind is saved by the blood of Christ
- To enter the Kingdom of God, good works are necessary, not optional
- Jesus will judge the works of people when the time comes.

So you lack the ability to understand.

So do you agree we are not saved by works?

We are saved by grace through faith and not by works lest any man should boast. Good works are a by product of faith. Anyone who claims to have faith but has no good works has dead faith and is lying.

You are such a blooming dunce. There are atheists who understand the Bible and the teachings of Christ better than you.

For the last time:
- All people are saved by the death and resurrection of Christ
- this saves them from the sins and they are supposed to live a new life [Ephesians 2]
- this new life consists of good works and righteousness
- if this is followed the person gets eternal life in the Kingdom of God
- if it is not followed the person is cast into the lake of fire and is destroyed [Ephesians 5]

This is my last post to you.
I will from now on ignore all your posts.

Good bye and good luck.

So you reject Paul and the other appostles interpretation of the gospel?

Sounds more like he's rejecting you.

Of course rather than admit that he is contradicting the appostles, easy way out.
