You spout off as if the only god that is real are the ones between our ears
therefore you miss completely the God who created the whole of reality and holds
it all together by the power of His world. You have such a pitiful view of god that
you despise him, not realizing the grandness of the real God whose very existence
has escaped you so completely because you brain re ...[text shortened]... n, own up to your words, and explain
yourself, or slither away accusing me of something your doing.
The link between all this conjecture of yours on one hand, and the specifics of the Jesus religion on the other, is purely anthropological and psychological; rather than supernatural.

The only god or gods I am aware of are those "between the ears" of humans. I am tackling you on the basis of what you say as a result of what you have "between the ears". That's where your ideology comes from.

Your the one that cannot clarify your own points as I have asked you to a couple
of times now. A common game with you, I'll leave you to it.
SecondSon: For the sake of discussion let's assume there is such a being, and we have His book that tells us how, who, what and why.

FMF: For the sake of discussion, in the scenario you describe [where "there is such a being, and we have His book that tells us how, who, what and why" and we believe this to be so], both Ghost of a Duke and I would probably be religionists in accordance with the revelation and instructions laid out in the "book" you mentioned.

it would mean you would have to acknowledge your errors and sins.
I find your ideology nonsensical and far fetched. I don't "despise" you or any of the things you imagine to be true. I think "sin" only exists in the imaginations of religious people. While I do acknowledge my errors and morally unsound actions all the time, you tell yourself that you have been supernaturally "forgiven" for them and will enjoy everlasting life as a result. If my "brain" found all these assertions you make credible, no doubt I'd be a religionist like you. But it doesn't. I am no more or less likely to subscribe to your religion than I am to Islam or Hinduism or Satanism. The word "despise" has nothing to do with it.

You'd be singing a different tune if you were born again and knew the risen Lord Jesus Christ.

I am an agnostic atheist. If I believed that I was born again and if I claimed I "knew the risen Lord Jesus Christ", then that's what I would believe and claim. I'd also be "singing a different tune" if I were a Hindu or a Satanist or a Scientologist. People sing tunes. I sing the tune that I sing.

Do you believe your tune is true and all the rest are false or are all the tunes true?

I can guarantee that FMF will not answer this head on.

Fetchmyjunk/dj2becker is asking me, an agnostic atheist, if I believe that Christianity and Hinduism and Islam and Scientology and Satanism etc. are all true. And he's asking me whether or not I believe what I say I believe. I have given up trying to talk to him about these kinds of things.

You'd be singing a different tune if you were a Muslim.

Do you believe you are a lying adulterer or that thee is no god?

You keep saying that, it doesn't make it true.

If life and all the truth of it was only found in our brains I'd say you have a point, but
I don't believe that to be true. We don't define truth, only present opinions, if they
line of up with reality we have truth, otherwise we just present an argument.

I'm not asking you to believe it's true.
