This is all about God, not us! God's creation is for God by God, not for the happiness of man, so that is who wins the most people, and numbers are the means to measure who wins.

All of the attributes of God are in play in everything He does; He does not put aside His righteousness to accept unrepentant sinners. He saved us out of His righteousness because we couldn't do it on our own, sinning against God and man we had nothing to offer God; it is only by His grace can we come to Him. You reject God and have turned Him into a genie in a bottle that doesn't care about our lives; we are such a prize He must accept the unrepentant murder and rapist no differently than those that pick up their crosses and follow Him putting Him above their very own lives and the lives of others whom they love.

More than a few here need to study the whole Bible; from Isaiah 11, it is with righteousness He judges.

He shall not judge by what his eyes see, or decide disputes by what his ears hear, but with righteousness he shall judge the poor, and decide with equity for the meek of the earth; and he shall strike the earth with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips he shall kill the wicked. Righteousness shall be the belt of his waist, and faithfulness the belt of his loins.

Dive, based on my admittedly limited 2nd-level Cosmoconception, you're not going to be tortured for eternity for things in the past you regret, or for your current forum jackassery, no matter how much it amuses you.

Generally people do as well as they can at each moment of choice or crisis moment, and improve over time if they can, but of course many or most of us might also have to overcome primal instincts or automaticity.
