@kevin-eleven saidWhy is it you rock up here everyday with nothing to say about any of the thread topics?
The first session is free if you want to tell me your troubles for 50 minutes.
@divegeester saidMatthew 7:14
I’m not claiming he is the ruler of hell, in fact I started a thread saying exactly that. As you very well know!
But in your gospel he does win, and win big. Your interpretation of the bible paints the picture of a Jesus in hell overseeing the devil and billions of others being cast into the lake of eternal fire.
Your gospel is about the few who are saved.
Your version of Jesus loses to Satan in terms of numbers. Period.
For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few.
@divegeester saidSatan goes to Hell; he does not win. The numbers are not a measure of success; it is the righteousness of God.
Irrelevant faith speak, KellyJay. I’m not saying you’re wrong, but it’s just irrelevant.
Satan wins on numbers, you now it’s true.
@divegeester saidWhat does any of this mean to you personally?

Some believers hope to see their loved ones again in the afterlife.
And I gather your clever little ego fears that it might be tortured for eternity -- otherwise why would you be so invested in this project of yours?
@kevin-eleven saidI find you quite boring Keven Elevin; I’m getting the distinct impression you don’t have many friends because people very quickly see through your cunning and stop mistaking it for character and personality.

@divegeester saidThis is all about God, not us! God's creation is for God by God, not for the happiness of man, so that is who wins the most people, and numbers are the means to measure who wins.
Here’s your version KellyJay.
“Not everyone is accepted”
What a dire vision of a losing god. Not only does this version of the gospel lose the billions who don’t seek god, it loses the ones who “aren’t accepted”.
Elitist. Defeatist.
All of the attributes of God are in play in everything He does; He does not put aside His righteousness to accept unrepentant sinners. He saved us out of His righteousness because we couldn't do it on our own, sinning against God and man we had nothing to offer God; it is only by His grace can we come to Him. You reject God and have turned Him into a genie in a bottle that doesn't care about our lives; we are such a prize He must accept the unrepentant murder and rapist no differently than those that pick up their crosses and follow Him putting Him above their very own lives and the lives of others whom they love.
More than a few here need to study the whole Bible; from Isaiah 11, it is with righteousness He judges.
He shall not judge by what his eyes see, or decide disputes by what his ears hear, but with righteousness he shall judge the poor, and decide with equity for the meek of the earth; and he shall strike the earth with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips he shall kill the wicked. Righteousness shall be the belt of his waist, and faithfulness the belt of his loins.

@kellyjay saidBlah blah. More blocks of faith speak.

The bottom line KellyJay is that your version of Jesus is a failure.
He’s lost billions and billions and billions of souls to the snake, to lucifer.
Where’s the victory for an all powerful God?
Not there is it.
@divegeester saidDive, based on my admittedly limited 2nd-level Cosmoconception, you're not going to be tortured for eternity for things in the past you regret, or for your current forum jackassery, no matter how much it amuses you.
I find you quite boring Keven Elevin; I’m getting the distinct impression you don’t have many friends because people very quickly see through your cunning and stop mistaking it for character and personality.
Generally people do as well as they can at each moment of choice or crisis moment, and improve over time if they can, but of course many or most of us might also have to overcome primal instincts or automaticity.

@divegeester saidYes, I've come to this expect from you when scripture is given, you blow it off, for your sense of justice, your made up jesus, your pet scriptures.

@divegeester saidAs compliments go, that was rather indirect.

@kellyjay saidI’m not blowing it off, I accept what it says.
Yes, I've come to this expect from you when scripture is given, you blow it off, for your sense of justice, your made up jesus, your pet scriptures.
But the facts are indisputable; in your version of this gospel Jesus is an epic failure and loses billions upon billion of souls. But but my version of the gospel he’s a victor and loses no one.
Now you need to face up to the fact that “a few” is acceptable due to elitism, but an epic fail.
My version is that there is another interpretation and in that scenario no one goes to hell.
That’s it.
@kevin-eleven saidYou are probably a decent enough person in real life but I have no time for you in here. Nothing to say on the thread topics, intellectually dishonest, malicious when cornered and ready to side up with the gutless and cretinous if it serves your spite.

🙂
@divegeester saidMore venom for people who do not agree with you OR your methods.

Not very principled, is it?
