Well how do you suggest - with "intellectual significance" if you want - that Proper Knob's open mind is "limiting"?

Come on Rob, explain how having an open mind is 'limiting'?

why do you think the universe exists?

I did not say having an open mind is limiting, did I? Putting words in my mouth is
rather underhanded tactic. I said that your adherence to naturalism is limiting your
ability to determine reality and I demonstrated the fact by asking you a question with
regard to the universe. It demonstrates the reality that knowing how the universe
works tells us nothing about why it came into existence.

As an expression of Gods will, what else?

My apologies, i got my answers mixed up with your posts. My full answer to your question is - i don't know why the universe exists, but i keep and open mind with regard to that question.

As for the rest of your post. Que?

Do you accept you could be wrong?

No worries, we are human and prone to abbreviation (lol, aberration), anyhow, the point is that knowing
how something works (naturalism) does not tell us why it came into existence, thus a
merely material view of the universe is limiting in our ability to form a whole and
unified view of the universe.

Its an expression of his love, his ability to create. Why do artists paint pictures? As an
expression of their will, i see God as the great artist.

Naturalism may not give us the answer to the 'why' questions, but that doesn't mean i'm going to make something up just to fill the gap. All you're doing is promoting a 'God of the Gaps' world view, i don't buy it as i find it extremely intellectually lazy. Anyone can make up any old nonsense to fill the void. I prefer admitting that i don't know and stating that i will keep an open mind.

Just because naturalism doesn't give us the answers to 'why' things came to be, that doesn't mean it's wrong in giving us answer to 'how' things came to be.

because its in his nature. Have you never heard the expression a labour of love?
