@kellyjay saidWow! That’s quite revelation KellyJay.
I also acknowledge some people rub me the wrong way and I can find myself thinking of very bad things to say and do to them.
What bad things do you find yourself thinking of doing to people here who rub you up the wrong way?
Is that where your gas chamber thoughts came from?
@kellyjay saidSpeak for yourself, KellyJay.
I think long before I showed up in the world of our making, we were robbing, stealing, name-calling, and thinking and doing all manner of evil against one another. We treated others as objects to use and abuse, and the vast majority of our thoughts were nothing but the same.
@kellyjay saideven if [we] call someone a fool we are in danger of Hell fire
Jesus made the bar very low so that we could see it when He said that even if call someone a fool we are in danger of Hell file, do you see name-calling even here?
You don’t believe in "hell fire", KellyJay.
If you did, why would you continuously call divegeester a "liar" in public when you are so clearly doing so to cover up your own dishonesty?
You obviously don’t believe calling someone names risks "hell fire" and you obviously don’t believe "hell fire" exists.
Otherwise, why on Earth would you be spending time here oozing your misanthropic take on the world?
If there was a a real wildfire heading for your neighbours' houses, would you be out there doing something about it, or would you be on the internet calling people "liars" and running away from conversations?

@divegeester saidThe signs were there but we ignored it ... And here I am thinking Im having a conversation with a regular guy, when the truth is he borders on psycho.

@fmf saidKellyJay should print this post off and hang it on the wall over his computer screen.

@kellyjay saidI can honestly say that I understand the perspective you present here and I do not share it. If people were as rapacious as you believe yourself to be, we wouldn’t be here. We would have extincted ourselves hundreds of thousands of years ago.

We treated others as objects to use and abuse, and the vast majority of our thoughts were nothing but the same. Can you honestly say you don't think that is true? The theme of many is the strong rule over the weak as they will and every man does what is right in their own eyes, you deny this?
I read in news this week about a stranded gondola in Pakistan; several people were trapped inside, hanging by a single metal cable after two cables broke. In great peril for 14 hours. Helecopters could not rescue them because the turbulence from the rotors destabilized the open gondola. They were finally rescued by a team of volunteer zip line sportsman who crawled out, literally hand over hand along the remaining cable to save the people one by one. No one obligated them to do that, they were not professionally trained rescue personnel, they were just some local sportsman from the next village. Now, why do you think those people did that? Because people are by nature evil? Because every man thinks only of acting in his own interest? Well, I just don’t see it that way.

@moonbus saidThere are stories like that all over the world, in every village small acts of kindness and self-sacrifice go unnoticed. These are the people who will enter the Kingdom of God. God is no respecter of persons neither is God fooled with mouthworship and empty praise.

The church has messed up some peoples minds. KJ has gravitated to church dogma rather than what Jesus said. If people were so inherently evil and wicked Jesus would not have started off his missionary with:
Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted. Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth. Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled. Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy. Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God. Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God. (Matthew 5:3-9 KJV)
... simply because he would be talking to nobody.

@divegeester saidHe will certainly have a come-back and more excuses supported by who 'His' and 'none of His'.
And what about calling someone a “liar” or a “deceiver” as KellyJay does on a regular basis.
No doubt he will have a scripture tucked away somewhere which provides him with a personal “get out of hell fire” card.
@rajk999 saidA murderer can be "kind" and "nice" to others, but that does not make them righteous before God, none of the good things that a person can do will remove any of the sins from their lives. If you get pulled over for speeding, you can say you are sorry to the officer, claim you will not do it again, and still have to pay your ticket. One thing you are right about God is no respecter of persons and mouth worship and empty praise mean nothing to Him. You claim to be a follower of Christ yet rejecting the words of those He anointed to start His Church and write the New Testament scripture shows you mouth worship and what a liar you are when you put your personal spin over the clear wording of text.

@moonbus saidYou again feel that there are two different groups on the planet, one who does evil and bad things and others who do not?
