Whatever the Bible says is true, that is the perspective, not what people "think" or "interpreted" the perspective to be.

I presume you enjoy SiFi, and maybe Natalie...
I have not seen a Natalie Portman performance I did not like.

I see. Now I'm like the Nazis. You know that it isn't even closely even true but if it makes you feel better blaming me for God's eternal judgment then it must be okay - We're not going to get anywhere like this.

It's a long-standing Christian strand of theology on the question of what happens to non-believers (and presumably failed believers) at death. Have you never come across it?

The fact that you are referring to "different Christian perspectives" just shows where the real problem is. There is only one perspective, and that is clear in the Bible.
How preachers interpret and preach the wrong message is not for me to defend - I have not met any preacher that preaches false stuff that is outside the Bible.
I am not a pastor, did ...[text shortened]... y - if that is what you're asking, but I have the Bible, common sense and logic. Do I need more?
There is only one biblical perspective and as luck would have it, it happens to be yours.

Okay so lets try and clear out the confusion. What was the exact point of the OP?
Note: There was absolutely no explanation given before or after confirming a view, or an opinion or anything...
Originally posted by @divegeesterWell - I study. Ask preachers, get the meaning of certain things.
How do you decide which parts of the bible are literal and which are not?
Originally posted by @divegeesterYeah well - you're technically very true on that fact.
No, I, just saying that someone has told you about eternal suffering and you are just swallowing it without questioning it.
I mean - someone did write it down in the Bible - and I believe it 😉
No doubt there 😉
Originally posted by @divegeesterI do believe the Bible is correct - nothing in it ever has put any doubt that its not true.
Oh dear.

Originally posted by @sonshipYou have admitted, in this thread, that you would not personally burn someone alive for rejecting you. Clearly you personally do not find god’s action moral and yet here you are now a few days and manny pages later telling us that the moral issue is tied up (whatever that means) with the nature of god. It is clear to me that you, like Nicksten, do not agree at all with this aspect of the nature of your version of God but are in fact....just following orders.
The moral issue is tied up in the nature of God.
Many people can see that by observing the life of Jesus in the Gospels.
The moral issue for some readers also comes down to whether they should trust in Christ or trust in you and your arguments.
They should put their trust in Jesus Christ.
They should not put their destiny in the hands of your reasonings. I am sure of that.
