Thanks whodey!! Your selection assures a Texas victory.
I knew we could count on you!!
Notre Dame and Meatchicken. Since Notre Dame have turned into the sisters of charity of late I pick Meatchicken.
Oh wait, I guess that is the only interesting match up this week. My bad.

Yep, you got Akron and then Toledo. They might as well add Texas.
Granted Texas stunk up the field in the first half against BYU,
but the dominated them in the second half and salvaged a win.
BTW, no team in the country is playing as many true freshman as Texas is.

Georgia? NOT.
As I said, they are a mediocre SEC team - at best.
Georgia went down to the wire with #10 South Carolina a week after being dominated by Boise State. Last night, the Broncos blew out a Toledo team on the road; the same team that almost won at #17 Ohio State.

That is a pipe dream.
Originally posted by no1marauderTo be fair, I didn't think that Utah would win that game either. But I wouldn't rate the chances of a win by an excellent mid-major like Utah 2008 or Boise State 2011 against a top SEC team either year as "a pipe dream".
Neither could Utah in the 2009 Sugar Bowl according to "experts" like you.

They are not indicative of a team's true talent level, as much as they are an anomaly.
On any given day, any team can beat any team...that is the fact.
The odds, determine the likelihood of that outcome.
You can defy the odds occasionally, but you won't repeatedly.
Could Boise win a game against Alabama?........Yes, of course they could.
Is it likely that they could beat Alabama?.....No it is not.
